Because he’s smart you fuck nut….You put out mixtapes to build hype, build a buzz, build a fan base, get people talking and sharing the free mixtape, then you come out with an album when you feel like you have a base that will pay for the music…If you hear 5 mixtapes and that are all fire, you wont have an issue paying for the album when it finally comes out.
