By definition, yes. It has to do with the length of a project. But not calling a 8-track an EP isn’t as stupid as calling a 12-track project an EP. It’s like calling a sweater a t-shirt.
Also, Kendrick even addresses the fact that his label thought he was crazy for calling that project an EP when it wasn’t. He just didnt care.
But really it doesn’t matter cuz no one seems to give a fuck about that shit. Most music listeners don’t even know what an EP or LP is.
