Honestly I thought this single would have gone platinum by now, as this shit was everywhere in 2012. Yet Sir J of the Juice’s “comeback” single has reached the gold plateau to kick off the new year, which is still a great accomplishment nonetheless.
After a whirlwind few months with the release of Juicy J’s #1 debut single “Bandz A Make Her Dance,” The Washington Post’s #2 song of 2012 is kicking off the new year with a gold certification for over 500,000 copies sold. In support of the single, Juicy J joined label head Wiz Khalifa on the sold-out 48 city “2050 Tour” with Taylor Gang label mates Chevy Woods, Lola Monroe, Tuki Carter & Berner.
“I’m overwhelmed with the success of the single. The fact it’s something I created in a 2 bedroom apartment in DC is unimaginable,” said Juicy J. “Thank you to all the Taylors out there for supporting it, I can’t wait for you to hear the rest of the music!”
Congrats to J on his success.
