  4. @JayG, burr, and adolfmayne: He got the name Chip Tha Ripper from battle rapping in Cleveland and killing it (like Jack The Ripper, the serial killer), but he’s said for years he didn’t really like it. So he decided to give himself a rap name he wanted instead of one that was given to him. Chip is short for his birth name Charles.
