This track was solid and it was cohesive with the subject “highschool” This reminds me of her Mixtape. Unfortunately the “real” will dissect this into pieces .I listen to different mediums of music heavy and I understand that everyone is at a different level lyrically, intelellectually and spiritually. I never understood after 3 mix tapes of rap songs and hustling cheap CDs on the street , she gets attacked by exploring other genres in music . It just never made sense to me.
@EricDean, i completely agree with you. @WhoKnows, how is this cohesive? in what way does wayne stay on subject?
ya’ll remember wayne was a topic chameleon back in the day – he made pop songs like ‘down’ dope, mostly because of the way he can flip the topic. these days we get a song called ‘high school’ and all we get is a bunch of recycled lines from wayne rapping about how a girl wants him but he’s insecure about her because she talks to a bunch of dudes. at least, that’s what i got out of it.
“Can’t stand these trash rappers, they’re fans need some tde in their lives to hear what hip hop sounds like”
the sound of a dick rider. pushing her obsessions on everybody else
I think it’s dope even though I don’t get the title. Y’all need to stop hoppin’ on the bandwagon and be real. Even if you really don’t like it you can’t explain to me how this song is “pop”, but whatever.
I dont get how people hate so easily. I am by no means a Nicki Minaj fan but i give credit where credit is due. She came with it on this track. Nice flow, the beat is good and content is decent. Wayne is wayne but he fits this track well. Great job over all.

Yo. This nigga Wayne actually delivered a good verse.
Shit was witty and had substance..what the fuck.
It took Wayne eight hours to come up with this? (Source: “My Truth” Episode 2). And I’m confused: how does this follow the theme of high school?
