The Kanye West and RZA with Tapez and Boogz-produced "White Dress" — who many speculate is about Kim Kardashian — appears on The Man With The Iron soundtrack due out October 23 on Soul Temple/STAX/Red Distribution. Shouts to Pitchfork.

This guy is so overrated ye back in the day he made fucking dope beats but not any more and as a rapper his average voice flow lyrics and mad corny i only ever see white people listening to him

  • Mr. G

jesus christ. i wish he made a whole album like this. some of the best shit since college dropout

  • Mr. G

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/zAhLbeRG jones

    THIS SHIT RÌGHT HERE NIGGUUUUUH!

  • DX

Produced by Ye with co.prod. by RZA. Do you muthafuckas check your facts before you post shit?

  • Mandingo

Yea prod. by Ye but Tapez and Boogz are also credited with production. DL link anyone?

  • DX

I just misread it thought they were crediting Tapez & Boogz with the production. Smooth track.

  • FatBoySlim

It's probably more of Tapez & Boogz beat and Kanye just bought it from them like he usually does and just adds some minimal shit and calls it his but either way this is fire! Capo if he's overrated why the fuck did you click on the link? You're a fuckin hater that's why.

  • adi Pre

How can you hate on this!? This is incredible, feels like the old Kanye, hot damn, don't like it, get the fuck off the post and eat my chuds.

  • http://n/a TxHustla

Capo - Noone cares what your illiterate fourth grade level bubba gump sounding ass has to say, only thing that is ironic is corny sounding self naturally using a italian saying since you are a "boss" #StruggleLife

  • Based

You guys do know Kanye don't rap like he use to because he had ghostwriters right?

  • Mike Tomlin

    A College Dropout leftover cut?

    I kid... I think.

  • dwight

This samples Game - All The Way Gone

  • Var

Lets give credit where it is due, "White Dress" is a dope track. point blank

  • Loyalty

I like the song! I Don't think he's talking about Kim Kardashian, I think he is talking about a female from his past if you really listen to the lyrics

  • naoshad

VIDEO WAS COOL, I WAS ZONING

  • Magee

    That was really good.

  • gt

this sounds good so you know its a old kaye song about amber that was stashed

  • Manfuckyall

Shuddafuckup with those rumors. He doesn't have ghost writers. He's even said it in his songs. But since there can't be proof that he didn't ever have a ghostwriter people will talk shit about a living legend. Once Kanye is dead everyone is gonna be on his dick.

  • http://2dopeboyz.com Harlem

“The Kanye track was actually written for the film. I invited Kanye into the editing room, and I showed him the scene [where Lucy Liu’s character comes around the corner wearing a gown], and it already had the music underneath the scene. And I wanted him to write a song for it. He came in to see the scene, and he loved it. And he was like, ‘Yo, I’m gonna bless it. Trust me.’ - RZA. Now Shut the fuck up.

  • SHOWMAN3000

OVERRATED! Dude used to be hot and have substance 3 albums ago. It's a quality to have lyrical ability but if you have no substance or balance to your music. So disappointed in this lost loser!

  • *corrections

^ You're an idiot. Kanye was, and has always been about the music, lyrics are just an accompaniment. He started as a producer, and I think the production levels have gone up with every solo LP he has put out!

  • NoWuff

This is a pretty mediocre song as it stands alone. Remember that it's part of a soundtrack. We probably shouldn't judge to harshly until we see how it complements the movie.

    ^^^^^^

I'm an idiot cause I think he's overrated. LOL ahh man I swear. I didn't say he was wak. I even complemented him but you only looked at the critic and got all defensive. You obviously have to be a die hard fan and not paying attention. I judge the music 1st as a fan of music. The artist(s) always comes 2nd no matter how much I love the artist. No way on God's green earth his music has gotten better and definitely NOT the production. Put the 1st 3 albums against anything he produced after that and you honestly could say "the production levels have gone up" I highly disagree...and I won't be as juvenile as to call you an "idiot" Mr.*corrections.

  • SHOWMAN3000

    @NoWuff

    I def agree

  • ahh2

To think Kanye went from overproduced nonsense (Cruel Summer) to real music in a flip of a switch. Talent....

  • hejsa

    Song sucks balls. Period.

  • suavebrotha

wow doesn't anyone read credits anymore Ye has a production team now so he co-produces more rather than produce every track like when he was brand new in game w/ less connections and had to pay his dues so why compare Ye past albums w/ current producers have different styles and vibes than Ye people sleep too much on creativity and attempt to put artists in a box

  • dtb

this song is underwhelming. It's pretty good, but i expect more from a kanye working with rza song. and how does this go along with the movie at all? its a goddamn love song.

  • MAJOR

I was accidentally playing Lana Del Rey in the background while listening to this but it went pretty good with this song

  • Check

    lmao niggas hatin' no1 cares
    721 dope's

    we won

Saying somebody used to be hot, isn't a complement! It's just being an asshole in a nice way. That would be like looking at a picture of your girlfriend from two years ago, and saying now: "Damn, you were hot!" Your ass is sleeping on the couch for that shit. But, as you want to make it about the music, and not idiocy, the music from MBDTF was some of the best Kanye has ever put out. I'll concede the point about me being a fan, I am, but I'm not blind to reality in the same breath. Music changes, just like art, fashion, etc., so comparing College Dropout, Late Registration, and Graduation to MBDFT is kind of stupid, my overall point is that, with the way music is made now, the sounds, melodies, etc., that Kanye has put forth is the past three/four years have been the best of his career. If you doubt that look at the likes vs. dislikes, because quiet as its kept, Kanye produced this as well!

Wow! Again if you choose direct your comments at the parts you consider a diss and not read it as a critique. It was a brief statement not a totality or complete synopsis of what I think. I also said that he's "lyrical" even in my disappointment I believe hes a good lyricist. That is my favorite quality in a artist. Again I won’t be as juvenile as to call someone names, throwing small jabs, being sarcastic when conveying my views.

That would fall under the category of what you claimed I was doing --> Mr.*corrections "It’s just being an ASSHOLE in a nice way. That would be like looking at a picture of your girlfriend from two years ago, and saying now: “Damn, you were hot!” Your ass is sleeping on the couch for that shit. But, as you want to make it about the music, and not IDOCY" I don't understand how you would expect to prove a point with that approach.

Anyhow, how could his music gotten better when I'm almost 100% most people who heard (<--key word) all his albums would prefer his first 3 over any of his latest. You could put up the best of his latest against his best of on his first 3 albums and his latest wouldn't be better At All. Even if you went song for song. Of course I know music has changed or is changing rather. I'm not one of those "Stuck in the past people." or "Music was better back then people." Music could be way better than what it is now but I look for all the good music still no matter what. I download new music every week.

If Kanye's production etc improved then why is there so many co-produced tracks in most of his last albums. He's always collabed w/ people to assist, add on and do additional work. However there is a big difference between "co-prod" and "add. production." He's obviously adapted to the synthsesizing strings/cords and bass type beats now and south rap/flows as well. I'm a fan but I'm being honest. He's just not as consistent as I know he can be. I believe he's everything he implied he wouldn't be in prior to these last 2 or 4 albums based on the compilation and collab w/ Jay-Z. There's a lot of music I like from him. He's talented so he always have bangas but I'm not drawn to his music as a whole nowadays.

Basing "likes" and "dislikes" on a website on his recent work doesn't prove not in the least his work is better. That's not even justifiable. Were there sites like this that did the "likes" and dislikes on his first 3...<---No...and the sites that were available when those 3 were out fans activity weren't as active and the social media outlets now are triple then. There's way more access now.
