I’ve been trying to piece this puzzle since their departure as a group, but I’m always come up short, and I guess rightfully so since they’re always so vague about the situation and completely none of my business. But being my favorite hip-hop group of all time, I wonder as a fan why 9th and Phonte left their little brother out. After all that was said, and all that was done, Pooh was always the quiet one, like the Ali Shaheed of the group, till one day, shout outs or features for Pooh ceased to transpire.. Who knows, maybe one day a great writer’ll take up the task in penning up a book about them, or hell get Rappaport to get a short film on them.

  5. It’s real easy to see why they broke up. 9th Wonder is a very talented producer, but as a man, he comes off shady and shows he only cares about himself. I’ve heard similar stories from NC cats saying the same thing. Everyone tells different stories but it all revolves around the same type of behavior from 9th. I’m from NC and I’ve heard he’s tried to black ball people who speak negatively of him and he won’t be a part of anything or anyone’s career that he can’t control. This is coming from male sources, female sources, artists, fans… Now you hear Big Pooh speak on loyalty. Joezemo exposed that even Phonte can only tolerate 9th for business reason. Kaze spoke on how 9th treats you when he needs you and how he treats you when he doesn’t. All these things are on the web. Still, a very talented producer though. No one is perfect I guess.

  6. I can’t help but think 9th did him dirty (maybe Phonte too but that is hard for me to imagine).. but Pooh sounds really mature about the whole situation, not bitter at all, that’s admirable.

I saw the Jozeemo and Kaze videos, and it’s understandable that Phonte fucks with 9th on a business level, I saw an interview where Tigallo was talking about Charity Starts at Home and they asked him about Little Brother, he mentioned Pooh and how he’s doing his solo thing, but still, no shout outs or features. And on such a business level that he doesn’t even acknowledge his own brother from another mother on his first solo album? Come on fam. The whole situations fucked up but what are you going to do but just accept the fact and appreciate the quality of music they gave us while they were still together.
