  1. (Sober me) damn slaughterhoues this is trash! it was a good run while it lasted R.I.P eminem killed you!……(Drunk uundr the influence) this is GREAT! SLAUTERHOOOOOOOOOOUSE!

  2. Idk if I’m hearing these snippets right but I’m not liking what I’m hearing smfh……….

  3. first yelawolf…now slaughterhouse.
goddamn those snippets were way less than favorable.

  4. sounds good to me tho
    wheres dat mixtape

  5. I dont know cause imo if you on some hardcore, make the ugly face, head nod hip hop shit? I cant see how you gonna walk away from this kind of album not liking it cause at least 9 outta 10 hip hop heads gonna feel this shit for sure. I haven’t really been into Eminem’s type of sound for a long time but just judging by the snippets, it sounds pretty raw to me. Like a album that once you done listening you dont feel like something was missing. Seems like a total package of everything these four artists fans would like. Alot of those snippets sounded like that Shady records 04 vibe from back n the day and kinda reminded me of when Em, G- Unit, Obie trice and D12 used to get on Whoo Kid mixtapes and bully Benzino and Ja Rule with bars all the way through. DOPE

  6. Em is absolute trash now and Slaughterhouse never had their own sound. This shit sounds like it’s all over the place but with just a few decent songs. Too bad because they all are great on their own.

  7. very underwhelmed

  8. i dont wanna be mean, but this shit smells like a nice flop to me.
first thing ive notice; the beats man, very random and very poor choice. still gonna support the C.o.B./HSG movement tho. at least i hope crooked drops a solo album.

  9. Boy o’ boy… Can’t wait for the album to drop. SLAUGHTER!!

  10. WHat do yall niggas want from them. LOL. and why do yall blame eminem. HE Jus signed the niggas. He doesnt PIck the BEats. And he doesn’t write the lyrics. In my OPinion This album is Perfect for them. Stop Hatin on them.

  11. Doesn’t sound good.
Shady 2.0 is a fail between this and the average Yelawolf album.
In my opinion Slaughterhouse and Yelawolf are better rappers than D12 and Obie Trice but Cheers and Devil’s Night best any of these Shady 2.0 shit releases.

  12. only expect budden to deliver and the rest of’em to deliver once out of every 4 tracks

  13. Real hip hop shit right here!!! Rapper’s are in danger

  14. Who cares about snippets????????

  15. as a big slaughterhouse fan i have to agree, album sounds pretty all over the place with a few good songs here and there

  16. They are not a good group they need to focus on there solo careers cause this is not working for them. The highlight was when they was in that ciper on the awards show. They are trying too hard to make & hit its sounding too cheesy. The beats are garbage too.

  17. Trading alchemist, focus, streetrunner & dj khalil for alex da kid, hit-boy & t-minus was the WORST mistake slaughterhouse could make. Now I know for sure that the mixtape is going to be better. I have no faith in this product and I LOVED the first album.

  18. agreed with the last two comments. i think there isnt enough chemistry between them as a group and the beats aint helpin.

  19. nothing stood out to me… but i wish them the best!

  20. Im jus not feelin Royce. I’ve never felt him as part of the group. They get rid of him and I personally will be Slaughterhouses biggest dick rider. It sounds decent enough. I’ll give it the ole college download. #YAOWA

  21. my neighbor’s aunt makes $67/hour on the laptop. She has been fired for 5 months but last month her paycheck was $13051 just working on the laptop for a few hours. Read more on this web site

  22. Are you dudes really shocked by this? These guys altogether have been in the game about 50 years when you add up all 4 of their time and they have ONE, yes ONE hit record to their names “Pump It Up”. There is a reason why these guys have never had success on a big level, it has NOTHING to do with them wanting to be real, it’s because they can’t write a dope SONG to save their lives. They just use that whole I want to be real bullshit to dodge the fact that they can’t write or produce a dope album. They can RAP, but when you ask to write a SONG the lights go out. Anyone can spit a nice 16 after years of doing it, it takes talent to right great SONGS though.

  23. no

  24. @jumpman23
define “good song”? cuz I can name 34 off the top of my head from these guys.
if youre talkin bout radio hits, only kids and broke fucks who cant afford an ipod auxiliary port listen to it, which in term says nothin about makin a great radio hit.

  25. This is why they making a mixtape too. They knew the album would sound like this

  26. Holy shit this sounds terrible.
@Corey Gomez – We blame Em because SH & Yela were making dope music before they signed to Shady. Em hasn’t made a dope album in years, and they still dickride him like he God. So his presence/influence fucks with their better judgement

  27. @ jumpman23, I had that same concern when I first heard they were gonna drop another album but the fact is that this album has alot of full complete songs with actual themes that go beyond just scattered punchlines and battle raps. Even when they do just drop dope lines without a connected theme, thats dope too. I dont know what albums you people have listened to this year but to not like this shit, you guys must be listening to some incredible rap albums cause honestly I haven’t heard no group albums or solos from anybody else that sounds like this. And for people saying that the production sounds all over the place? There called snippets so only a few seconds of every song is gonna sound all over the place, smh. If SH is so wack then what albums you been listening to this year thats just completely smashing this group? EXACTLY, writing complete songs with concepts from first line to last or songs about struggling and hardship is cool but dont just all the way knock battle rapping especially before you even hear the album.

  28. Sounds like a good album… Its not the old SH but thats ok with me. Let them do thier thing without hating on it before its even out. You cant get a good feel for the songs in snippets… Mixtape should be dope too…

  29. People seem to be going really hard on these snippets, saying shit like the beats are all over the place…meaning? They don’t all sound like one producer or theme. Um…it’s a group of 4 MCs with all different vibes. WHAT EXACTLY WAS THE BEAT PATTERN SUPPOSED TO SOUND LIKE??? Some saying they are poppy…but there is nothing wrong with wanting success and taking chances. That is what is wrong with Hip Hop fans, we want artists to appease to US! Even if WE don’t grow, are biased, whatever. Appreciate it because these are all hard working MCs who deserved this shot if nothing else. IMO, the album sounds ill, and I want to hear the whole product before already building 4 coffins for these dudes. Damn you Hip Hop fans and your undying hate for everything! LOL

  30. Well, I’ve never been one to judge an entire song off a 30 second snippet… but as of right now I’m not liking what I’m hearing. That’s fine tho, I’ll wait for the whole thing before speaking my opinion.

Part of me thinks this is why they’re putting out a mixtape… cuz they knew a lot of original fans would hate on the album.

  31. Rescue Me was the only one that stood out to me.

  32. cant wait for this right here..slaughterrrrrrrrhouae

support real hip hop and stop bitching

  33. Some of the comments on this post betray how dim-witted hip-hop heads are. What people have to keep in mind is that no-one expects Slaughterhouse to go multi-platinum. In fact, I would be surprised if they ship gold.

That does not mean that the album is a flop. I strongly suspect that the group doesn’t have a bottomless budget, despite Em’s support. This is supported by the low-budget videos. The main priority is to release a solid hip-hop (and not pop) album and if a few tracks break out, so be it.

A “flop” is an album that does not recoup its (normally huge) budget. If Slaughterhouse hit 100K, it will be regarded as a solid number and in all fairness, the group will make more from touring with Em that it will off the royalties from the records.

This is not a difficult concept to grasp. Christ.

  34. I was there from the beginning of Slaughterhouse with the first release with Nino Bless. The BET cypher put them on a major platform then they signed with Shady. I knew this was a mistake. Anyone who listened to Eminem’s last two albums can tell where this was headed. Multiple delays, two supposed dates for the mixtape (no release yet), they have a slew of producers from Premo, Static Selektah, Pete Rock, Scram Jones, Lee Bannon, Alchemist, Rockwilder, and Dre. NONE made their debut album for their major. Disgusting. Slaughterhouse say that the fans are boxing them in which is a cop-out for what they have submitted thus far. I have heard the snippets and found sub par production. Cee Lo and Swiss Beats on a Slaughterhouse track was indicative of what was to follow. Grand opportunity wasted.

  35. ^^^ How does ANY hip hop fan in their right mind hate on Cee Lo or Swizz beats? Like seriously, thats some shit I just dont understand at all especially with a hip hop catalogue like those two. Anybody who puts either one of those two artists on the album should be congratulated for even making it to such a level in this rap shit. Im not even that much of a fan of Joe or Royce but all four of these cats on one album? COMEONSON im done with it cause some shit just cant be hated on. If this album is better then the last from SH then mission accomplished.

  36. Meh theres just not enough material here to tell what we really have on our hands here..my initial thoughts were how underwhelmed i was..but after a few play throughs i see how the beats some what work here…i care more about the bars to be honest..i think there will 4 maybe 5 gems off this and the rest will mediocre..mixtape might end up being better then the album..also have to take into consideration the deluxe version has another what 4 songs?

  37. FUCKKKKKKK!!!! I was so hoping this would sound better. The production on this album sounds fucking weak as fuck. The original album, beats wise, already sounds so much better. Cot damn.. another let down..

  38. This shit is embarrassing. And I’ve traveled 5+ hours twice to see them in concert but this, this is just a pathetic grasp for relevance.

  39. After hearing the snippets, I can honestly say, that was…UNDERWHELMING!

  40. only a fool would write off these guys, based on “snippets” lol. goodbye haters.

  41. wait up! i just listened to this. these trolls hatin’ just listened to a random 8min (of mostly unheard Royce snippets, thrown together) and are crying, as if anyone knows wtf he is talking about…

  42. And we need to get rid of the term and concept of being “relevant” in hip hop because being “relevant” means nothing. You can become “relevant” in less then 24 hours by way of the net now in hip hop so being relevant shouldn’t hold that much weight. Right now Chief Keef is way more “relevant” then say Jay Elec but that really doesn’t mean much. Kim Kardashin is more “relevant” then Kanye West even with no music of her own. And if being relevant means so much the Lil B would be the greatest rapper of all time LOL. So im asking that hip hop get rid of the term “relevant” within the context that it’s being used. Good day

  43. looks like the only slaughterhouse material im lookin forward 2 is the mixtape ….. seriously this shit sound worse than tha carter 4…

  44. wow that shit sounded dope to me. idk whats wrong with people man

  45. people who are feeling betrayed and what not are just jumpin the gun imo. I haven’t liked every single Nas album, but I am still a fan. That’s the only thing about “true”hip-hop fans…there is a straight line what ya’ll think “hip-hop” is and when ya’ll hear something that does trace that line ya’ll ready to jump ship.

I am the biggest SH fan, but I have an open mind, everything isn’t a battle rap song, or gotta be hardcore. Lighten up. If you don’t like a verse then just say you don’t like it, of you don’t like a beat, then just say you don’t like it. But REAL SH fans wants to see these dudes win. We expect so much but ready to write off when the wind blows. Thats not being a fan, thats being a CRITIC.

  46. WORST PRODUCTION EVER. THATS WHAT HAPPENDS WHEN YOU SIGN W EMINEM. WEAK ASS BEATS. FUCK THIS JOELL DOES NOT DESERVE THIS.

  47. Well..another thing is Em keeps pumping this whole hip hop needs slaughterhouse thing..but doesn’t seem like he really put the money behind it that he did with say obie, or 50…I mean imo shady/aftermath has 3 of the greatest producers working for them with Em, dre, ALC..if you throw khalil in the mix you have a nice mixture of different production..but where are they on this album…o mean shit 50 and obie got dre beats why not SH?…and don’t get me wrong I pretty much love everything SH touches…I just feel the expectations are so great for this album just more could be done..as I said before..there isn’t enough material to make a decision on this just based of some snippets.

  48. im on the fence about this. some joints soundded dope others not so much…we’ll see tho

  49. I don’t know what y’all are talking about, this sounds like a nice release.

But whatever, some niggas love to moooaaaan like bitches.

  50. Wow, didn’t expect the snippets to be this bad. Hope the mixtape is better!

Here is a random conversation with Eminem & Slaughterhouse in the studio..

Eminem: Hey guys I want you to check out this beat..

Royce: Em, I love this beat lets use it, how about you guys?

Joe Budden: Yeah, I think its hot. What about you crooked?

    Crooked I: Bananas!

Joel: I can rap over this, lets do it!!

    What they should of said:

Royce: Em, please don’t get mad.. I don’t like the beat. I’ll let you bust in my ass twice if we don’t use it…

Joe Budden: Em, I know I only had one hit record, but this doesn’t sound like another one hit record.

Crooked I: Em, I don’t like this beat I will have to agree with Royce and Joe on this one..

Joell: Em, I think this beat would ruin my career as a rapper..

  51. People love to bitch and moan, production isn’t bad and slaughterhouse will reach another level with this one.

  52. Its ok nothing special, the whole shit is all over the place 2-3 decent songs, random raps no concept, my life sucks so bad, Im not hating here cuz I like SH but as a fan of the real hip hop this album is very average, But hey its still at least hundred times better then all these posers lil wayne drake minaj khaled ross tyga 2chainz and

  53. My fucking God. This is the biggest collection of hate-mongering hipsters I have EVER had the displeasure to share a website with. 6 months ago, you all were riding SH’s dick, and literally THE SECOND they get some notoriety and success you call them trash. The world doesnt revolve around your pathetic thoughts that you type from your grandma’s basement. Stop letting hate flow through you for once in your miserable lives, and tip your hats to some great musicians. You people hate just to hate. Spewing venomous, ignorant, misspelled “sentences” left and right. Get the fucking dicks out of your asses, and most importantly ears, and realize that life isn’t a giant fucking hate fest, you ignorant, fuck-tard fools.

  54. This album was completely garbage!! I had much higher expectations except for this BS.

  55. Fucking disappointed to say the least. We know that these guys are dope but the Fucking beats wtf I knew interscope would fuck this shit up. Why make radio friendly songs when the whole point of these group was to prove that skills on the Mic and dope beats could sell. I know I’m hating or what ever other bullshit ppl might say. Album is trash. Thank you Em job well done.
