Blu & Exile – A Man

A Man is a brand new track off Blu and Exile’s Maybe One Day EP (which is available now in both digital and physical forms), not featured on the premature leak of Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them. The track will be featured on the official release of the full-length on September 4th as well. Pre-orders available for CD, Vinyl and limited edition box set.

July also marks the 5th Anniversary of Blu and Exile’s release of their classic (yeah… classic) Below the Heavens. And with that said, XXL put together a great read which includes Blu and Exile offering their thoughts on the recording process, Aloe Blacc and Miguel speaking on their contributions and more. Check it out here.

Well it’s a got damn shame that you don’t know what true hip hop is all about, this right here IS hip hop, in 20 years I’ll look back and think,”Blu was keeping it real, even when all the other rappers were rapping about money, weed, cars, and bitches, the nigga Blu kept it real, he rapped about real situations where normal people like us can relate too, you talking about how this is 4 years late, nigga please, everybody complaining about everything sounding the same, like @William said “a breath of fresh air!”

  6. Goddamn Blu. Goddamn.

You just can’t fucking “nope” shit like this. Classic status shit.

  7. WOW great track! BLU proves the haters wrong again :)

  8. Below the heavens is a classic in my eyes. and i am a blu fan, but he dissapointed a lot times since that album. this is shit GOES, an he hopes he keeps on this level of music

  10. BLU is great with or without Exile. Im just excited its another BLU project. The beats wouldn’t matter to me. He murdered all the stuff he has been doing with his other cohorts lately.

  23. I’ve been listening to this track all day. I connect to this track on so many levels, and for that Blu will always be one of my top favorite artists. Exile and Blu know soul. Dope shit.

  28. I see 10 chief keef fans accidentally listened to this track. how the fck could u not like this. Blu is the dopest emcee in hip hop period. Definitely the best writer. Fuck your life if you dont like tjis track. GRAHAM, ur a CUNT and don’t know shit about hip hop.

I dont buy music – I’m not even coppin Nas’ shit bc he has let me down too many times before, but i buy every Blu project because there is always at least one track that is so impactful that it makes it all worth it. Most rappers are lucky to have 1 track like that in a career.

  29. blu is my fav rapper period

  30. dick riding, initiated.

  31. @BluSkys
Kendrick Lamar is a real MC. Both Blu and Kendrick are dope. So fuck off you retarded hating ass piece of shit.

    Anyway this song is dope

  32. @A Yo

Agreed. Madd heads promotin k.dot awhile ago but now that he’s got so many followers it’s like the hipster listeners hate just to distinguish their point of view. Blu is one of the few untainted artists still fuckin wit flows and topics that actually mean somethin

Don’t get it twisted, Blu and K.dot deserve no hate
