  3. Shit, I’m still stuck on Witness My Growth haha. I leave eLZhi out of the top 5 talks, but he deserves a spot.

    1. Nas
    2. 2Pac
    3. Big L
    4. eLZhi
    5. Lupe Fiasco

  4. im gonna die if theres no Black Milk production!

  5. I try to respect everyone’s opinion, because music is subjective after all…but you’re SERIOUSLY putting Lupe in a top 5 of all-time? With people like Nas and Big L? For real?

Anyways, good to hear some new shit from elzhi. I’ll be looking out for that upcoming project

  6. ELZHI IS REALLY THE G.O.A.T Lowkey !!!!

  7. Yes, I really put Lupe Fiasco. Get over it lmao!

  8. if he and jay elec did something together, itd be game over.

  9. ^True Word. The real back.

  10. Lupe Fiasco is only the GOAT to niggas who only have heard of like 40 rappers, Bitch Bad?? this nigga complicates the most simplest concepts.

  11. Nice classic joint right here good Elzhi showing his true skills.

  12. Lupe has earned my top 5 spot through his fahrenheit 1/15 mixtapes. Lyrically Lupe is a pro, I admit, Bitch Bad was silly, I didn’t like it, but he’s great. ELZHI on the other had, is ENTIRELY on A WHOLE… NOTHA… LEVA! If it wasn’t for Nas. He’d be numero UNO on the list! Word up.

  13. People that put Big L in their top 5 only do it for a very short list of reasons and thats cool but there is more to being an MC then just punchline & storytelling ability. Bar for Bar Big L was extremely dope hands down so I cant take nothing away from him lyrically BUT he was only able to do 1 album because the Big Picture was put together after he died. Lifestyles of the Poor & Dangerous was the only album he did while he was alive and I just think putting someone in the top 5 who never got to even drop a major album commercially is reaching. Even though Notorious Big was only able to do 2 albums (3 if you count disc2 of Life After Death), he was able to reach a very high level of success. Unfortunately Big L was gunned down before he was able to do it his way on a major level so I dont believe he should be in the top 5 because he was murdered way to soon. He was just about to record an album on either his own label or on Rocafella but was killed before he was able to give his best effort. Lupe however, I believe will one day be in the top 10 of all time. He has done 5 mixtapes and 3 albums and has reached a certain level of mainstream success due to big records commercially and he’s only 30 years old at this point. IF he drops albums for the next lets say 8 – 10 years straight and on the same quality level of lyricism, I believe he will probably be up there with the greats. Especially if he gets better from this point on. Of course there will always be rappers that get more famous then Lupe like Ross and Kanye but if we talking BARS on a bar for bar level on the same scale that got Nas in the top 5, I think its only a matter of time before Lupe becomes apart of that conversation. Elzhi is dope too btw

  14. @ill youve obviously never herd a lupe track before…one the greatest of all time. go decipher “Failure” and come back. lol

  15. if thats HIS (Armand) Top 5 then why are u questioning HIM (Armand)?
Damn yall catch feelings like women
    chill

  16. Sub Par

  17. Heard this sample too many times. Its played out.

  18. this is DOPE.

  19. I never understood why poeple have Big L in their top 5 lists… he had great potential but dude never even reached his prime.. he didnt even get a chance to let his career breath.. but no doubt he was amoung the best if not the best during his time… but if ur a talking right now tho.. come on there’s greater rappers who are more versatile than Big L during his time he was spittin… sucks that he died tho R.I.P.

  20. Its an ok effort, from Elzhi. He can do better.

  21. “@ill youve obviously never herd a lupe track before…one the greatest of all time. go decipher “Failure” and come back. lol”

I totally agree with that! Failure and Champ Is Here requires multiple listens. I remember after a year of listening to Failure and realizing the Usual Suspects line. AFTER seeing the film! I felt like an idiot!
