Pete Rock & CL Smooth’s Mecca & The Soul Brother turns 20 this month, and to celebrate Pete will be throwing a party at Manhattan’s Le Poisson Rouge this Saturday (June 30th). I have the honor and pleasure of opening for the legendary producer (where you think “Meka Soul” came from?), who will also bring out some special guests as well.
