Pretty good, but its a lot more radio friendly. Not as good as When We Were Kings, bur its not bad. Imma have to listen a few more times. WWWK, i loved immediately, but this one is going to have to grow on me

Just started listening.. That “God of Joy” track is dope as fuck..
this progression and transition to a more pop or “radio” friendly vibe may have been a little too premature imo, BUT doesn’t change the fact that this is quality music and a unique hybrid of dope lyrics and is a new wave of hippop. God of Joy and Sirens Song are radio and MTV ready!

This is THAT DOPE SHIT!……obviously this has more of a dance/electronic pop sound to it but the thing is that he’s still very lyrically engaged. Him releasing this & When We Were Kings is a prime example of making different types of music while still keeping your integrity as an artist. He’s still very strong lyrically and concept wise. He just switched the style up for this one. He’s showing that “Pop” music can be good music as well…..& that girl Janelle Kroll is sick.
never thought i could be into somethin with this kind of sound…but this shit is great, anthm is versatile as hell, awesome project
i loved the sincerity behind the project, and the whole thing was conceptually awesome. be still was a favorite for me.
I hope producers that lent beats for this project are taking notes… about no due credit given to them !!!
I highly dislike this and it plays quite a big factor in deciding to d/l & listening to a project by new artist !!!

he chose some good ass electro production for this too, good ear.. none of that trash that a lot of rappers go over
that Bag Raiders track he goes over (“God of Joy”) is dope
nice. i like god of joy, but the last 3 joints go hard as fck… be still, polaris, joy & pain. 3 incredibly dope hip hop tracks
one of the best projects i’ve heard in a long time… the sound was so different than his other mixtape that it kinda threw me at first, but each track is really quality. i like it more every time i spin it. Polaris & Be Still are bangers. the last cut would have been better without Gibbs.
I love Anthm’s music. Joy & Pain is one of the best projects i’ve downloaded this year. Except for Deliverance, every track is excellent. The only issue I had with the EP is that it’s so short, I already gad every track except for Be Still and Joy+Pain w/ Gibbs. But I really think Anthm
