What hype? The occasional spin on MTV Jams?

  • http://gmail KJdaking

The tape is dope. Joey can rhyme his ass off. Good beat selection to, a lot of 90's jazz type beats on here. I'm feelin it.

  • murry36

    verry verry good!!

  • smh

LMFAOOOOO...why is there an OJ Da Juiceman tape streaming under the tape back cover!?! lmaoo..2DopeBoyz average a fuck-up a week b lol

  • my god

It's crazy that a lot of the new rappers out there killing it are around 23 or older and this guy is 17. He is only going to get better man. Remember Kendrick on Training Day and how he is now? Scary thought

  • Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight

pure dopeness, this kid is the future!!

  • http://soundcloud.com/cadoxo Cado

Best Music I've Heard All Year. Even Better Than Ab Soul's Tape.

  • eatshit

Joey is dope as fuck and only gonna get better. Beats are crazy...It would be crazy if premo, pete, large pro, buckwild, lord finess worked with him. Dug out some old beats.

  • zak

why, for every mixtape you post, there is a OJ Da Juiceman mixtape player at first?

  • Danny

Your description makes no sense grammatically.

  • BAunique

Aight. Time to see what's up.

  • Juicy-G

    JOEY!!!

  • 5 Stars

This is hip hop in its purest form. Dope lyrics, solid beat selection. Joey could very well be the future of this artform.

  • http://auntsxuncles.tumblr.com Awal

kid flows like Doom on a couple tracks....shits 2dope

  • JillyGoodA$$

Dope tape!!! Bada$$ is BAD! Imagine him linkin up with 9th Wonder and the Jamla team.

  • YES

    @JillyGoodA$$ Its only right..

  • III

This is probably the best example of "classic hip-hop" that I've heard in 2012. If you played this 15 years ago it wouldn't sound out of place at all.

My favorite project of the year so far (granted I've only gone through it twice, so we'll have to see how the replay value is)

  • kadeem

shit is fucking hard!!! Him and B ROLLIE need to do a track together from YONKERS TO BROOKLYN!!

  • Holy-Holyfield

Joey Bada$$ + Chuuwee would be dope AF. I would love for that to happen in the future.

  • Thank Me

This is nice. Change from crap rap

  • that truth

  • http://turbocity.net Turbo City

Solid mixtape. I fucks with the movement.

  • NYC/BROOKLYN©

    Joey Bada$$ > Earl Sweatshirt.

  • Master Lee

This mixtape is dope. Joey's got next.

  • http://HiiiPowerAG.tumblr.com *correction

Joey never better than Earl. It's a slim margin though.
Just wait for earl's next project. earl's oldie verse was iller than anything joey got.

  • fat fuck fred

  • 2Brainz!!!!

I must've played Daily Routine at least 30 times today lol.

  • the truth

Without good beats Earl Sweatshirt will always be just another mediocre rapper from odd future. He hasn't reached his full potentiatl because tyler the gimmick keeps holding him back.

  • Master Lee

This is the best mixtape this year hands down. Joey is the truth. Real Hip Hop at its finest.

  • melly melo

This kid is nice a lot better than Earl Sweatshirt because while Earl can flow he doesn't really say shit his subject matter is random BS, this kid can flow and he actually spits some real shit the future is here

  • that truth

lol @ butthurt fanboys. this kid is a lame, just a bunch of multis with garbage flow and no sense of song structure. when you rap a million bars on a mixtape and theyre all forgettable, youre not good.the production and vibe are nice and consistent but theres nothing special about this kid at all. hes young so he has a lot of time to improve, but earl is light years ahead in every area of rapping and making music

  • HipHopUpdate

Not totally disappointed but not impressed. Hear a lot of influence on here and not enough originality. He's young tho so I hope the constructive criticism helps him perfect his craft.

  • ray

    young homie is cold..enough said

  • ok

worthy of being considered a CLASSIC... classic... classic. and i'm not a prisoner of the moment.. say what you will, this is music i can feel... that kinda rhymed

  • Riddler

Earl Sweatshit is complete ass, i don't even understand why anyone listens to him and OF. Lyrically, all they talk about is obscure bullshit with the occasional O.K. Beat and average flow. Joey's flow on this E.P is on-point and the lyrical content is actually revolving around the thoughts, trials and times of the average brooklyn youth. In short, Joey is Lightyears ahead of Earl, and for being the same age, this E.P completely dusts anything Earl could even hope to produce, let alone flow on.

  • andOneill

this is definit;y the best shit i heard so far this year, pure magic from start to finish.!! what a dope artist with a big big future, 17 and already has one of the best tapes i ever heard, props to joeybad.!!

  • http://soundcloud.com/ynglncgnva/en-peso-remix LANCE GENEVA

This kid had me at the second track in all serious.. Never heard of this nigga but I kept seeing his shit everywhere.. Downloading now then I'm about to smoke something and have a review tomorrow hopefully.. Kid is a PURE lyricist but he's butter smooth and he doesn't sound like a fucking machine. Scary how young this cat is.. Can I get a Nas comparison anyone ? In terms of being a fucking prodigal child of course lol. CLICK MY NAME FOR MY PESO FREESTYLE !
