The Amazing Spider-Man (Trailer)

In this preview you get a brief but detailed look at the latest Spidey villain, The Lizard. Let’s hope they don’t make Curt Connors as douchey as they did Eddie Brock/Venom in the last film. July 3rd.

  1. I want to like tis so bad, I really do, but I can’t get used to the new suit. It just looks weird. I will admit though this trailer did get me a little more interested than I previously was.
Why did they have him skateboarding at 59 seconds though? Peter Parker is supposed to be a nerd who isn’t the slightest bit athletic. Skating is worse on your body then regular sports are. Just sayin’.

  2. the fact that this is a different storyline, and not just a rehash of the last Spiderman movies, makes me wanna check this out… that fact explains the change in a lot of things, the suit, love interest, etc.

  3. Can’t be worse than the last one I think Superman Returns might have been better

  4. The 3D on this will be ridiculously insane.

Side bar: Watch The Expendables 2 trailer on my name

  5. The CGI looks like some shit from a SyFy channel movie…I’ll pass…might check this shit out on bootleg when it comes out

  6. dont see the need for a revamped spiderman after what 5 years after the last one?

  7. quas

Mainly, because the studio and fans realized that while the previous trilogy was nice to see on screen, they are actually pretty inaccurate and shitty movies

  8. Lol I wonder if Dennis Leary was chosen because he looks like William Dafoe who was in the first movie of the last trilogy.

  9. LIZARDMAN!!!!! HELL YEA!!!

  10. e him skateboarding at 59 seconds though? Peter Parker is supposed to be a nerd who isn’t the slightest bit athletic. Skating is worse on your body then regular sports are. Just sayin’

You’re definitely wrong on that. The reason why they had to reboot the series was because of the clusterfuck of contract negotiations gone bad. Sony wanted their vision to be expressed with the franchise (multiple villains and many more quirks) and the director at the time Sam Raimi didnt want to do that. They fought and fought to even get Spiderman 3 out. So when Raimi saw that Sony was only going to repeat this process, he sought out so he could go and do “the Hobbit” movie. Tobey Maquire was also more money than Sony wanted to pay so there were tensions on that part. Tobey then said that if Raimi left, he would leave as well and that he wouldn’t do the movies without him. Kirsten Dunst then went the same route saying she’d only do it if Raimi and Maguire stayed, so she dipped. With the three main players out, that was the end of it and they started from scratch again.
Spiderman 1 and 2 were amazing films, it was just the 3rd that fucked up everything.

I really really hope they dont fuck this franchise up again.

  13. Since when can Peter Parker tre flip?

  14. Weak. It looks like humans in a cartoon world.
