  1. I really want to like it but his ego from the past and how he disapeared when he turned away from Dre is getting in the way. He doesn’t talk shit anymore and needs to stands on his own two feet. Independant stuff, he has no buzz and this track will not help. Dre was great for him the tracks they banged out were GREAT, and would have been good on Detox. No Stopping Carson, Soldier and the others. Had some bangers in the past but he’s not lyrical enough to have slacking beats. Nothing stands out here.

  3. Man I kind of feel the same way as @zachariah. Something feels so different about Bishop’s music, maybe it is the beats. He’s still sick and no matter what, I’m always checking for him. It just really is disappointing he’s not with Aftermath anymore cuz he was PERFECT with them.

  11. The Confessional was great. Caltroit, classic project. It’s not up to Dre, no, but he had a certain sound from him and the team he was surrounded by. He has the skills from Dre now worked with him for years on end about perfecting verses and such, secret mastermind behind Detox all that shit was probs scrapped but he has the knowledge to maybe do it all himself now.

    This beat is not for him. Go to Black Milk and get some REAL SHIT. Get back on that vibe and he’ll be sweet, the underground scene with those dudes, Danny Brown and Lamont could rock it, Elzhi, Phonte there are certain dudes that fit with him. 9th Wonder could help him.

    He has a kind of whiny voice which doesn’t go with everything.

  12. ^^^Zachariah, you don’t know shit about shit! How much do you actually think Dre was right there with Bishop. If you followed Bishop’s career, he was working with all the major producers. You can probably only name 3 songs from Bishop produced by Dre. And those probably weren’t actually produced by Dre.
    Bishop knows exactly what he is doing. He’s building Diocese into something far greater.
    Go listen to No Equal, Music Is All That I Got, Its Over, etc…He’ll smash your favorite rapper in a heart beat.
