Growing up listening to classic soul records his pops used to play while chilling at the house, the Memphis native has teamed up with his younger brother (producer Teddy Walton) to craft something they call “urban epic”. A fusion of hip hop, soul, R&B and a twist of pop. Or so that’s what the introductory email I got from the homegirl Nancy says. Whatever the case may be, his debut album June2Real is dropping this Summer and here goes the first single. Thoughts?
