inb4MacMillerHate haha the kid works with everyone “real hip-hop” loves but his fanbase is teens and females. I get why he gets hated on but still good for him cause he gets to work with the people that inspire him even if they only work with him cause he’s one the “hottest” things in hip-hop right now

Mac miller isnt a great mc hes decent, but so are a lot of emcees that get posted daily yet receive a ton of love. He stays true to the sound of hip hop and works with his inspirations that helped mold the genre. He also exposes a generation of hip hop fans to pioneers they probably wouldnt have been exposed to otherwise. You can tell he does it for the love. I respect that. Keep doing your thing mac.

Good collab, they’re cool outside of music, so it translates well.

Mac was flowing his ass off on this track and he showed hip hop legends some love. How can you hate on this?

I think for the most part people still know he’s wack as fuck but just started to accept the fact he is going to be around and stopped putting forth the effort to hate as hard. No one is forcing you at gunpoint to listen to the dude so just keep it moving. Yes rappers 1000Xs more talented get passed up for this shit but hey, they world keeps spinning.

You know whats ironic? You hear some of wack millers retarded ass fans saying shit like “He also exposes a generation of hip hop fans to pioneers they probably wouldn’t have been exposed to otherwise”, then you look at de la and preemos first week sales and laugh. IF the quoted statement were true wouldn’t the legends collaborating with him sell units in the 100’000′s along with him?

mac got big because of wiz khalifa. period. he’s so basic it’s gross. but yeah, a lot of rappers that get a lot of love are also basic. hip-hop is in a horrible state (been for years). it’s all because of these dumb ass listeners that get brainwashed by what radio/media tell them to buy. just let your little teenage cousins, brothers, friends etc… know that it’s lame to listen to any of this basic garbage and put them on game about real emcees who actually know how to use a pen(slaughterhouse, chino xl, etc…). then hopefully the next generation of kids will not be so easily influenced by this shit!
