I just really have a problem with rushing to judgement without seeing the song in the proper context of the album. I think some “singles”/”money grabs” sound like shit because they aren’t accompanied by songs that complement them (i.e. the album). I’m not saying in any way that this song is shit, I’m just saying once we get to hear it in context it will be that much better.

This song….Theraflu as well…are huge dissapointments. I am not sure why Kanye has been lacking creatively as of late. And I am a member of the Record Academy, so I think I have some level of taste to make proper judgment :). The beats were poorly produced (I don’t understand this as this surely was not a low budget project) and the lyrics just were not there. Lyrically, Kanye is usually a genius so I’m quite dissapointed with this track. I usually don’t expect too much from the others anyhow. There were also several times throughout the song where the beat and lyrics were a bit off sync. Would anyone agree? Disagree?

And then 2 CHAINS! of all people comes back in and saves it for him.
