word. this doesn’t need to be mastered, it needs to be MIXED. mastering (when talking about a full album) usually has to do with all the tracks sounding coherent in terms of frequency and volume levels. the problem with blu’s shit is usually MIXING AND MASTERING as well. more so mixing, but word. i stopped caring about dude years ago. i don’t mind lo-fi shit, but it’s just lazy overall.

Whether you like his vision for how he wanted it to sound is completely subjective but don’t think for a second that the sound quality of this project was just him being lazy. Considering that his last few projects have had similar sound quality.. this is clearly the sound he was going for.. Do you really think MADLIB would allow this project to be released like this if it wasn’t part of Blu’s vision for how he wanted it to sound? Again, whether or not you like it is completely subjective but the sound quality of this project was definitely intentional
