Chris Rock & Dave Chappelle To Tour Together?

Remember those rumors back in October? Well, things may still be in motion. Inspired by The Throne, Chris Rock has hopes that he and Chappelle will make it happen. Check what he said to Vulture below.

I’ve been talking to Chappelle a lot. Been trying to get Chappelle to go on tour. You know I’m not the hard one [laughing]. But I’m trying to make that happen. After seeing Kanye and Jay-Z, I was like, ‘Me and Dave should do this.

Thoughts? Opinions? Bueller?

  10. yeah this would be a smart move basically it would easily be the highest grossing comedy tour of all time and they could easily sell out stadium sized venues the problem is that for comedians it takes them time to come up with new material so i think the thing would be would Chapelle be ready to with new stuff. But mos def count me in.

  28. Dave Chappelle was working developing a show to air on Netflix. I guess it fell through. He’s obviously looking to get back in the game. This would be a good move for him.

    Dave still has it, he was here in Austin, TX about a year ago just chillin and he would pop up and do sets. I happened to be in a bar at the same time he was and after they kicked everyone out, me and about 20 other people stayed. He did about an hour and 30 minute set. He let people ask questions and just talked about random shit and made jokes about every person in there. He asked that no one film cause he “didn’t want this shit on youtube”. Once in a lifetime experience.
