Chip Tha Ripper – Tell Ya Friends (Mixtape)

Cleveland’s native son returns with a new mixtape with the likes of Lex Luger, CyHi Da Prynce, Wale, Krayzie Bone, KiD CuDi, Bun B, Boi-1da and more stopping by to help out. That cover still makes me crack up every once in a while. Tracklist and link down bottom.

  1. out here gettin it…

  2. first. Mixtape is okay, I think its one of his weaker ones. First few songs all sound the same to me. Gets better though. Best song is GloryUs, song with krayzie bone is dope too.

  3. -first

    bitches

  4. fourth.

    ho’s

  5. This could be Chip’s come-up year if he plays his cards right. Drop another tape after u start getting that XXL Freshman cover promo, and roll it into a couple high-ish profile collabs and voila! You have a career.

  6. Man I thought this dude was gonna blow up after Cleveland Show… How you gonna sit on the shelf and you aint even on interscope. He needs to get on that illumatatanitati swag.

  7. I’m not feeling this. Maybe I over-hyped it or the fact I was thinking it to be similar like Gift Raps

  8. New Chip is always welcome in my HD. Chip is in the Zone.

  9. This sounds NOTHING like Gift Raps… Glad to see Chip bounce back with a dope ass project. Cleveland show got play for damn near 2 years from me… I can see certain songs off here stay in rotation for a good while.

  10. Dope
    Very Dope

  11. Cleveland Show >>>>> Tell Ya Friends >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Gift Raps

I love Chuck man but Gift Raps was trash

  12. speaking of… anyone know if S.O.V. got anything else out since his production on Cleveland Show?

  13. @kayo

I agree with you man. Love Chuck. I was anticipating that album so much and it disappointed me. I just feel those were throw away beats or just the wrong ones for Chip. Chuck and Chip are still the shit though. I like this album more then the other tbh, but The Cleveland Show is right there next to this

  14. Gift Raps was all original production with the mighty Chuck Inglish. No DJ…it was all dope. The first good project of 2011.

2012 Chip is trying to just show us he can work. It’s a true mixtape. Gift Raps was more complete like an album. TYF is more of a mix tape…it’s still dope. I’ll always fuck with Chip. His concerts aren’t to shabby either.
