    If I remember correctly, it was either The Eminem Show (my first time listening to him) or Hybrid Theory.

  4. THE FIRM ALBUM… 12 years old obcessed with NAS… Now this is the first album i purchased with MY OWN BREAD. My cousin would dub me tapes of everything he got, he was on top of all the latest releases.

  10. Common’s One Day It’ll All Make Sense & Rakim’s The 18th Letter. I loved “It’s Been A Long Time” & “Remind Me Of Sef”, and still love those tracks ’til thiis day. Those albums are classics in my book. Also bought those on cassette. Damn, those were the days.

Kelly or OutKast’s “Speakerboxxx/The Love Below.” But now that I think about it, it was definitely Chocolate Factory, Ignition was my theme song at 13 years old, lmfao. First album I could call mine though, was OutKast’s “Big Boi & Dre present…” when I was 11. I haven’t listened to R. Kelly since he came out with the “outta the closet!” shit, but everything else still gets play.

This one still gets play cuz of all the dope samples he used…
