The Hitmen
Just put together a quick compilation showcasing some of Carlos “6 July” Broady’s production catalogue. The Bad Boy Hitmen producer is sorely under-looked and under-appreciated. There’s a lot more gems missing, maybe I’ll cover those another time. Enjoy these for now.

The Hitmen look wild suspect. Niggas all hanging all over each other & shit.
Too much touching IMO.
d-dot did 24 Hours…great mix but definitely shouldve included the shit he did for C.N.N. on the war report (T.O.N.Y., Driver’s Seat)
Word, fail on not including T.O.N.Y. But D-Dot mixed down 24, and Carlos produced it, at least according to Discogs. Conflicting reports. I’ve also read Carlos just played keys on that album. *shrugs*
Jpints he did on the La The Darkman album were official
another track he did that was crazy was “Bowtie f. La the Darkman and Kool G Rap – Pain In Many Forms”
Bulletproof Windows ? Wtf??
how about a Nashiem Myrick compilation
nice post,
it’s cool to see people like that getting props before they die.
@Justice Equality Supreme Yeah you might be right…with the hitmen I always feel like its been kinda ambiguous as to who did what on what tracks. Either way, theyre hip hop legends
Props on all the Royce inclusions… that album was insane and the production was perfect for the vibe Royce wanted to create. One of my favorite albums. Out of those, Regardless is my favorite because it sets the tone.
Is that Anthony Anderson in the back??? LOL
@ DJ Dharmic X
Word. The last six joints on that album are my faves. Some really dark, disturbing Hip-Hop w/o really sounding emo. As a whole, the entire album has no tracks that are skippable.
Royce needs to get back with him. He gave royce some classics on Death is Certain
Nice post, Justice. Carlos Broady is one of the overlooked cats in production for sure.
Clipse/Re-Up Gang over that Queen Bitch track is one of the illest tracks ever.
