What’s this? Two dope contests in a day? Bet! This time around, our friends at Slice of Spice are offering up a copy of Grap Luva’s (brother to Pete Rock, cousin to dearly departed Heavy D) new EP, Neva Done. I got a chance to hear the EP and it’s damn near perfection from start to finish. The EP features original beats and rhymes by Grap, and they all sound dusty like it’s supposed to sound. Your chance to win a blue copy on vinyl is right here. For snippets of the entire EP, you can head over to Fat Beats. So how do you win? Simple: Name the group Grap was a part of as well as one song Grap appeared on Pete Rock’s album in the c-section below with your legit email (not in the comment itself, unless you want some random spam bot flooding your inbox for the next 50-11 years) and we will randomly choose a winner this Tuesday.

    Grap was never featured as a vocalist on a Pete Rock solo album, but he produced “Half Man, Half Amazing” featuring Method Man off of “Soul Survivor”. One of my favorite beats on that record, actually.

    Grap rapped on Pete Rock & CL albums (on The Basement, which has already been mentioned). I swear he also had his own interlude as well, the title of which slips my mind (on Main Ingredient, no?)

  42. I agree with the guy above…for a PETE ROCK solo LP he was not on the vocals on any tracks but…if you meant a PR &CL Smooth LP them there are some joints like The Basement and Get on the Mic…he was featured on some Pete Rock only 12s like Revenge, etc,….oh yeah the group is INI
