T-Pain recently sat down with Rap-Up to talk about how it feels to finally release rEVOLVEr and how Lil Wayne got on Bang Bang Pow Pow. He also says that despite being 8-9 tracks deep, he doesn’t believe the T-Wayne project will ever be completed as Wayne seems to be “over the idea”.
When [Wayne] got into his litte trouble, that was right at the peak of when we was like, ‘OK, let’s go. Let’s do this now.’ He finally had time, then he went to jail. Things happen and I’m pretty sure he’s over the whole idea now. I don’t even be bringing it up to him no more. I’m pretty sure he’s way past that right now. He’s doing big things.
After the jump, Pain performs Drowning Again on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

T-Pain looks soo fake lmao
What’s with the random T-Pain obsession on this site lately? Since when did you guys give a fuck about him?
goood cuz that was a shit idea to begin with.
id rather be force fed a t-wayne project than a lil wayne project.
just saying. kinda bummed.
im sure pains feeling those moneys decrease too.
how about people looked around and realized there was nobody who likes t pain anymore
i don’t think his time is behind him hes just moving out of a mainstream appeal and into a more musical lane. It’s just my opinion but rEVOLVEr was by no means a commercial album but it was damned musical! All the instrumentation and dope ass mixing and mastering made that almost every song fill a room. i didnt like it at first cuz it wasnt Thr33 Ringz (classic if you ask me) but it wasn’t supposed to be. It’s a “i can make music” album in that view i can respect t-pain and his album.
