  1. Cover caught my attention (Never heard of this dude before) clicked on his tag and am listening to “Power of God” right now… Holy shit. This is dope as hell. Definitely gonna download this

  2. lol fuck outaa here with this hipster bullshit

  3. ^^
You shouldn’t resent creativity like that. Maybe it is designed by and/or intended for hipsters, but does that mean you have to resist it? That you shouldn’t listen to it? As if it’s impossible to fathom that you could ever enjoy the same thing a hipster does. That’s the kind of close-mindedness that leads to tightening the field in terms of defining the genre. Unfortunately it doesn’t tighten the field of artists *in* the genre, which is why we’ve ended up with so many derivative and untalented biters getting shine.

  4. Convinced been puttin it down since 08, don’t know where he went since 08, but check his album “Refreshing” out, so not hipster, this is hip hop, I’m sure this one is too. West…

  5. Dope.

  6. That cover is crazy. Have to check it out.

  7. I been checkin for Convinced since he dropped Refreshing. A lot of growth on this album. I’d put this in my top 20 underground albums for 2011.

  8. lol fuck outaa here with this hipster bullshit

Did you listen to the album, or did you just judge a book by the cover?

You are gonna miss out on a lot of good shit if thats how you go through life.

  9. This album is nothing short of amazing. The cover art. The production, which is superbly on point. And Convinced on the mic. This kid can spit but theres also a poetic layer to his delivery. Salamoooooo!

  10. I like the Refreshing album better, but this is still dope.

  11. ^^^^
This album is superior to Refreshing in every way. From how J-Traxx took his production up from the last album, to how much more animated Convinced is with his flow. I have to put this up there with Section.80 for best indie albums for 2011.

  12. Power of God is an incredible record. Been a fan of Hawdwerk for a while now. Ill have to start checkin for Convinced shit now.

  13. “I have to put this up there with Section.80 for best indie albums for 2011.”

This niggas stans are gettin carried away with statements like this.

  14. This cat has dropped a few good albums. A Better Tomorrow, For The People, Refreshing, The Versatility Mixtape. This is his best work in my opinion.

  15. Dope beats

  16. Shit slapps

  17. What ever happened to FuturWestic? Or the album with El Prez?

  18. I never heard of this guy but the artwork is intriguing enough for a download.

  19. How the fuck is this “hipster” shit? This shit is knockin.

  20. Been waitin on somethin since the Versatility mixtape. Convinced makes dope music but needs to drop shit more often.

  21. The West is killin it right now. Convinced, Blu, Pac Div, Kendrick, you get the picture. Must be somethin in the water out there.

  22. Shake – this isnt out of left field at all. Convinced has a pretty hardcore fanbase thats always ready for his new shit.

  23. Killer Clownz From Outer Space

  24. Not to be picky, but an artists description of the artwork would be nice. Can anyone tell me if the music on the album matches the artwork in anyway?

  25. YOOOOO I hella appreciate all of the comments towards my album,….im appreciative that all of you took the time to listen to the record. Its been a long time but the wait was worth it…….. follow me on twitter @Convinced

  26. This nigga need to drop an album with Blu. Both are mad talented, drop dope projects, then just disappear for mad long. Some of these rap niggas dont realize that they actually DO have fans.

  27. @Jennes, I wish I could drop a record with Blu, he’s probably my favorite MC from the west, along with a few others…

  28. I swear.. I ask for “Forgiveness”. I’d tell you what I did but “You Already Know” I probably came to a “Fork in the Road”. This is around the time I wish I had the “Power of God”, if only to slow down “Our Timeline”. I have so many “Unanswered Answers” that I stay in a constant state of “Neurosis” with “My Thoughts”. However “You’ll Love This” with “Drama in the Club” and “YouPhoria”, you will want to live “5 Lives” just to have a “Constant Memory”! This story is HELLA dope!!

  29. Andy johnson makin things happen….sickness

  30. Im convinced. Better than underground and mainstream, mos def in its own category.

  31. This album is artistically and musically epic. The composition of this album is genius.

  32. Yo Lmmfao da boy Marcus Death said it best (above)~just painted the picture matchin’ it up wit da artwork (unbelievable) but even his perfect description can’t grasp at what can only be grasped at~ that was dope~moreover tho and all due respect but if u got da whole view lookin’ at a picaso it wouldn’t be a picaso..there’s always more…da boy Vince is deep..an honor to watch his evolution and creativity flow..and still be dope without losing entertainment value~ luv all da FRESHCOAST love here too…
