We talking hip hop and I listen to alot of albums way more then WTT but I just gotta keep it real at the end of the day WTT had better beats, subject matter and lyrics then most albums this year. Now Kanye not getting album of the year doesnt surprise me because even though that album was super dope it didnt have really anything for commercial fans of hip hop at all. It sounds like the most underground shit ever and thats cool but I think Kanye forgot that people liked his radio songs in the past so a couple on Dark Fantasy would have been cool. When the academy votes on these nominations and winners, one of the requirements is not to take album sales into account. Nor do they factor in chart placement. If that were the case, arcade fire wouldnt have won album of the year a few years ago. Its solely based on the quality of the music. All other factors are not to be taken into account.

She also has picked and arranged most of the beats for all the albums because she sits in the lab while the beat is being made, much like what Puff did with the Hitmen.
