  1. Cole has been winning lately, even if you hate him now you have to respect him. He proved the doubters wrong from day 1. Cole World !

  2. Man, WHAT THE FUCK EVER! Nigga still papoosed him in my eyes.

  3. Cole been on a roll lately. Grammy nomination, Work Out #17 on the Hot 100 and still rising, and now he went Gold. Haters fall back.

  10. highly overatted album. crappy production, underwheling tone. boring concepts. repeated mixtape concepts.

  11. im not hating on him at all, in fact im happy for him.. but how the fuck did this happen ? it damn sure wasnt marketing..

  12. How you feel?

  13. ^^his marketing sucked bad.. along with his two singles… but dude been grinding for a minute gaining fans…not those fake ass pop song fans.. especially overseas, so im not surprised.. if he were to manage platinum then id be surprised.

“I wanna buy Big Sean’s album because I don’t like J. Cole and want him to fail and he doesn’t deserve it”

lol the epitome of hating. Faggot. If you would’ve bought the album in the first place and not have been so spiteful, he might have went gold too.

  15. How does bug sen deserve it more when cole had the better album. who cares about commercial airplay its about the music hands down n big sean album isnt all that cole isnt either but his album is better

  16. @Drillz

Another overracted stupid poopoo comment. But some people claim that there not hating at all SMH. But this is the C-Section. Full of haters especially when someone blows up.
Congrats to Cole. Dude deserves it. I don’t think it’s the best album of the year but it’s amongst the best no doubt

  17. Gold World

  18. Clap for em’.

  19. 2dope c-section = welcome to Troll World

  20. Props to the homie Cole.

A rule I have: If majority of hoodrats are talking about your music, you made it.

  21. Dope interview with Elite @ http://www.dreamvillenation.net/p/interviews.html #Coleworld

  22. Still havent listened to it, and dont plan on it

  23. If majority of hoodrats are talking about your music, and less hip hop heads are liking it, then you’re screwed. That’s J Cole’s case.

  24. I Can’t wait till his sophomore album drops in June titled Cole World: Varsity Blues

  25. Cole explained earlier that most of the Friday Night Lights material was SUPPOSED to be the album, but delays and frustration caused him to put it out as a mixtape. To me, the actual album was lukewarm–just more typical J.Cole–but I think we are all having a different conversation if FNL was released and promoted in album form.

  26. I’m probably one of the few that liked the album a bit more than FNL. Don’t get me wrong Friday Night Lights was one of the best mixtapes, of last year probably the best besides Krit Wuz Here but it was kinda all over the place. I think I just enjoy Cole World more. Plus it had a little bit of everything. Deep joints, personal joints, lyrical songs and those care free single material songs. Just overall well rounded. Something I think FNL lacked is cohesion but Cole World has that kinda like The Warm Up. Although, The Warm Up is still his best work.

  27. J. Cole has remained true from the beginning to himself & his fans that actually KNOW how to listen to good music & recognize a staple in hip hop w/ his lyrical ability overall song concepts flows & his very underrated production skills that will be here for years to come when this so called hip hop today that has evolved into birthing gimmicky dumbed down saturated rappers that cnt even compare to cole & everybody else in the game that is not falling victim to the powers of the machine. He’s not the greatest in the universe, but there’s too many ppl that hate on talented individuals that give us that hip hop feel. i’m out.
