now THIS is the fab i fuck with! as long as he sticks with hip hop.
ive always felt like fab has the qualities of an MC to make a classic record/show. his beat selection just gets phucked up with the hyphyness. cant blame him for reppin his town…but hey, locksmith doesnt need hyphy beats…
Its funny how niggas in 2011 are trying to be all “golden era hip hop” all of a sudden. Just a few years ago this clown was rockin that stupid chain with the retareded school bus rapping about thizz, bitches & money. Now all of a sudden he’s taking his music “back to the roots” and even try to look the part by wearing that Hiero patch on his hoody. (FYI: just cuz fab is from the bay & he old enough to be in the Hieroglyphics doesnt mean he actually is) I mean he just looks like a groupie wearing that thing is all im saying. A bunch of lil niggas are on the same bandwagon as fabby too, i see them tryna dress all retro n shit. Maaaaaannnnn they aint fooling me! Real hip hop lives forever from ’73 til infinity. Real eyes realize Real lies.
^^^ Actually Fab always had these type of songs on all his projects, when he wants to he can make some incredible shit. Just saying
COSIGN @ marty mcfly … fab has some dope non-hyphy songs and this is one of them
check the new video out http://youtu.be/g580z2H68bI <– not spam, just tryna get heard
Real talk tho being from the Bay, Fabby Davis has always had non hyphy songs that were dope, its just the ones that were known to everyone and that got hella radio play were his hyphy shit. Plus there is nothing wrong with an artist growing and maturing to the sound that people wanna here. A lot of artist do that.
