You can also stream the album here, if you’d like.

This and Tanya Morgan You and What Army EP are out today, and both dope! But Tanya Morgan is also free. J*Davey deserved to be treated better by their label.

I would definitely not identify myself as a J*DaVeY fan, I’ve been interested, but not particularly impressed. But listening to the stream right now, this is really a great album. Buying now.
Creative as shit, it’s experimental electro-jazz-pop without sounding like a Little Dragon rip off. More mainstream ready, too- think MIA meets the Gorillaz meets NERD. Actually I would be surprised if they didn’t get a lot more popular within the next year or so; they’ve really polished their sound well.

@Dragonfly I dont hear any MIA in any J*Davey. I hear a lil Gorillaz tho in the production. They’ve been polished since Boudoir Synema. I loved that EP and Evil Christian Cop was insane.

Yeah, I surprised at the $2.99. Jumped at it. I’ve been a fan since I heard a track on a compilation a few years ago. Many of these songs I’ve heard as an extreme STAN that doesn’t miss their shows in DC. Happy for the new release. Still listening, but wondering if the sound will evolve more (not a dis). Or are we fans because they consistently bring the creative. Anyway, early Christmas present to me. Much love to J*Davey & I hope I hear about a show in DC soon. Peace.

@MOZART
Evil Christian Cop was not polished, it was busy and conflicting as hell. Not bad, but definitely not clean. And if you don’t hear MIA, then you didn’t listen to Whatchalookin@ or Kill For Fun.
