hey, I’m glad you mentioned Janelle Monae because she’s an artist who is signed to a comparable label, Bad Boy, and is still managing to make the music she wants to make and is talented as hell.
So let’s see what this kid is capable of before writing him off. If Janelle can walk the tightrope (see what I did there?) of being on a major and keeping artistic integrity, then let’s see what little homie will do. The way his voice is as of today, he’s going to sound better with age because he’s displaying some range up there. Voice will get stronger. I’m happy for this kid.
