*Rubs hands together in anticipation* Complex has recently reported that MTV will be bringing back the greatest Hip-Hop show ever (sorry, Rap City Tha Basement), YO! MTV Raps for a special one-night only episode. Some of the dopeboyz / girlz may be a little too young to remember the show, so this is a perfect opportunity to reminisce with us dinosaurs on the good ol’ days of Rap TV which aired from 1988 – 1995. The special will feature the original show’s hosts, Fab 5 Freddy, Ed Lover and Doctor Dre along with special guests that include “Q-Tip, Ice Cube, Wiz Khalifa, Questlove, Busta Rhymes, Young Jeezy, Phife, Common” and much more. Mark your iCals and DVRs, the special will air Dec. 4th (a certain Brooklyn rapper’s born day). Peep the last episode’s round of freestyles from August 1995 after the jump.
