Please, go to rap sites, not all of these mainstream websites.It’s like when Rolling Stone called Eminem the king of rap. I’m a huge Eminem fan, but he’s not the king. If you’re a real rap fan, you know Cole is better. He’s more lyrical, more creative, and touches on so many deep and important subjects. You don’t get along with people on blog sites because they grew up on hip-hop, you probably started listening to rap when it went mainstream so you think this guy crying over every track is acceptable. The fact that you consider Take Care a rap album is laughable when it was a lot more pop and RnB (mostly pop). J. Cole is a rapper, a damn good one. Drake is boring, corny, and repetitive with his subject matter and flow when he raps, and has to use autotune when he sings. Where is the talent? And I’ll repeat, this had nothing to do with J. Cole, but you brought him up anyway, so I bet even you know Cole is a better rapper, you just won’t admit it.
And that site you went to gave The Cool an 8.1 and Food and Liquor a 7.9. Do you actually believe that Take Care is better than both of those masterpieces?

Anyways, Cole World was flop guys, just admit it! You guys put Cole too high on the pedestal. And Take Care, oh gosh….. that shit was horrific, production was okay, The Weeknd & Stevie Wonder’s parts were nice, K. Dot & 3 Stacks’ verses were great but Drake crying about stupid shit & him TRYING to sing is what ruined this album, also those god awful veres from Lil Wayne’s wack ass. Overall both albums were 3/10.
& just to piss people off: Camp > Ambition >>>>>>>>>>>> Cole World = Take Care

Sure CW and Ambition are not Wale’s and Cole’s best shit, but the production is still nice, lyrics are not watered down, and they still pretty much rap about the same shit. Take Care on the other hand is just emo rap, stealing flows (really Drake? a poem? That’s Wale’s style), and simple to understand lyrics. No punchlines, no metaphors, no wordplay that goes over your head. Only highlights of Take was Kendrick Lamar, and Andre 3000. To put it simply, in Headlines, Drake says “Soap Opera rapper , these niggas sound like All My Children”. This is coming from the guy that made Brand New, Marvin’s Room, etc.
P.S. For the people saying Cole (or any other rapper for that matter) rap about the same shit too much,i bet that the moment that he decides to change up his style you’re gonna start yelling “SELLOUT, SELLOUT”

I like J.Cole but NO! His album can’t fuck with Kendricks. It’s not even close. Section.80 is the best album this year, hell best album I heard in years. Perfect from top to bottom. Lyrics, flow, content, concept, production, song structure,song order. And I liked kendricks music before but that album made me a fan.
And I’m a HUGE CH fan but “C.A.T.S Can” was horrible just like his last few projects, before it and after it. Honesty Charles Hamiltion fell off, hard.

Um. Take Care is better than Sideline Story. I’m a pretty big Cole fan, but the replay factor of the debut isn’t much. If he released the Warm Up as his debut he’d be 5 stars. Sideline Story had dope tracks, but the entire album as a whole is forgettable, while Take Care flows pretty well for 17-19 tracks to be honest.
Sorry, but Take Care just doesn’t sound like a good HIP HOP album to me. I mean, its a good R&B ALBUM but, rap? Ehhhh…
