I don’t understand Eminem. He made his own music, not made to target commercial success, and is more successful than anybody. He then continues to do this, selling millions and millions of records more than other artists. The next bit, I don’t understand. How do you go so commercial? Why? People ‘on the come up’ tend to stay true to hip-hop, then when they get more exposure, they go hella commercial, so they sell more records and get more $$$. But why do you go from selling more records than ANYBODY doing your own thing to making commercial music. Is the increase in money that much?
