  1. Rapsody too !LL .. real hip-hop ish .. Jamla!

  2. The Kendrick verse was short and overhyped.

  3. If there were more female MCs like her Hip-Hop would be a better genre.. waiting for Jean Grae to drop next..

  4. ‘The Autobiography Of M. Evans’ is fantastic; I haven’t checked the rest of the album, but this track is on repeat.

  5. Jesus can someone please learn how to mix over at that camp? Man, they hav dope music, but it sounds like shit through any decent monitors or car stereo. I really wish they would hire someone to be a permanent in-house engineer.

  6. Whenever Rapsody says a word that starts with an S on the title track, it’s painful and sounds like a cat hissing due to the mixing. I had to add that. Shame too because it’s a great song, but almost impossible to listen to with those damn hissing sounds.

  7. dope, did not kno this was droppin today. i was just schooling some people on her as being a dope female emcee, unlike bitch’s like nikki minaj-a-twat

  8. gotta agree tho the mixing on this kinda blows. dope shit bein spit.

  9. HEY ASSHOLES! IT’S FREE, YOU DON’T GET TO COMPLAIN ABOUT MIXING OR S’S! SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LISTEN! IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT, LISTEN TO SOMETHING ELSE! GOD!

  10. ^why put out a project with your name, artwork, original production, etc, and not fucking mix it correctly? Regardless if it’s free or not, that’s not an excuse these days considering the technology, cost of mixing going down, etc. So pull the dick out your ass and chill. You put out a project, it should be quality, end of story.

  11. where the fuck is young guru when you need him. I know 9th and him are good friends so he should be a good friend and mix all these records.

    Rapsody ft. Kendrick Lamar

for those of you who dont want to download the whole mixtape
btw this shit sounds like it was mixed inside a shoebox with laptop speakers…smh

  13. KoolESP, Rapsody and Jamla put this product out, so that means they stand behind it. They pride themselves on putting out album quality material on every release, free, or otherwise. The fact that it’s free does not mean it has a force field around it from criticism. That’s the attitude that will have the next one sounding like shit too. The album is awesome, no one is complaining about that. But it’s fucking hard to listen to, almost literally painful if the volume is loud. That’s all we’re saying.

  14. Yall need to get up on Boog Brown!

  15. Boog Brown is dope, Apollo Brown album was insane actually

  16. Yeah the mix on this album needs work, but that is pretty standard with Jamla releases. Either the bass drowns out everything else, or it’s distorted, it’s always something. The Eric G joints are the only ones that are clean.

  17. Who gives a fuck about a Mix when you got all this Ill music going on. Listen, don’t worry.

  18. Young Guru stole his name AND he looks like a monkey. Just sayin…

  19. DJ QUIK FACE ASS!

  20. Bad mixing interferes with enjoyment. The listener shouldn’t have to adjust the eq/volume from song to song.

  21. Thanks for this download and Rapsody does her thing for sure. Much success to her. As always, great job on the site, too. Peace and GOD BLESS
