QuESt – Still Alive (Where I Have To Go)

I’m not sure if this track will end up on QuESt’s 2012 release Fear Not Failure, but it should in my opinion.

  1. First dude to rock a dubstep beat right imo…I digs it.

  2. no such thing as rocking a dubstep beat.

this house music and dubstep bullshit is whack.

  6. I notice QuESt get new fans every time he drop something. look out for his new stuff but check out some of his old stuff too, dope artist.

  7. QuESt is a beat biter!!!!!

My name is Knotez, I run an Upstarting independent Co. Called Trust & Loyalty. About a month ago I reached out to QuESt about listening to one if my Producers instrumental Tape to get some feedback or for him to hopefully work with him. One of the tracks on the Tape was called “Foward Phasers” which included this very sample. He acknowledged the link and said he liked the tape he even RT’d the Link. That was the last we heard of him. Fast Foward today now we hear the same sample and even same pattern being used for this song. I thought he was better than that. Below is the link to my Producers track with a dated release of the track… If you don’t believe me see for yourself.. If you still don’t believe I have the twitter proof also..

  8. Haha, the theme from EA’s Mirror’s Edge videogame.

  9. QuESt bit this beat off of “Forward Phasers” of this mixtape http://dalurebeats.bandcamp.com/album/mindful-oblivion

  10. @Upset
No he didn’t. This beat is an original piece by Mt. Eden, who produced this track. The beat was dropped a while back and blew up on the dubstep scene. Mt. Eden and Quest are working together on the new album.

  11. Mirror’s Edge sample – very cool. I like how they played on it.

  12. @slim
a while back one my friend’s told QuESt to check out that tape, he did & even said he liked it(i have twitter proof) then fast forward to today the beat is being used on this song.

  13. Nevermind.

  14. Regardless, this track is ill as hell. And def something I haven’t heard from any MC…lets see what else Quest got up his sleeve. If its anything like this, he may be able to make a real impact
