Will Ferrell On N*ggas In Paris Sample

Will Ferrell talks with MTV about Jay-Z and Kanye West’s usage of dialogue from 2007′s Blades of Glory.

Kanye reached out to me and I said, ‘Of course’. I was completely flattered when they asked if they could sample me into the song … and when I heard it for the first time, I just started to laugh because it felt so surreal. But I really did like the song. We were trying to film a piece that they would use on the video boards of their concert, but haven’t gotten it together. I think [something from] Step Brothers would be good [to use in a song]. Or the Woody Allen movie I did, Melinda and Melinda. It makes me feel very good. And completely justified for buying a V-neck sweater made out of nothing but diamonds.

  1. Haven’t listened to the song because I haven’t liked anything Jay or Kanye have pur out in years. Buncha sellouts. But Will Ferrell is the man. Still don’t mean I listen to the track

On average, how many youtube videos do you comment on daily? There’s tons of Rick ross and Weezy mixtape tracks for you to spam with opinions about the real hip-hop, the genre that people who listen to Kanye & Jay are too stupid to find

  5. thanks a lot for reminding me about how much i want to bang jenna fischer

  6. I comment on like 2 youtube videos a week and I don’t go out of my way to go to videos i don’t like. But this is a blog and I think it’s ok for me to share my own opinion. I don’t see why you guys feel that me sharing my honest opinion means you are better than me. I said they sold out. I never said their fans were stupid. But judging on the comments you guys leave after my opinion then hey maybe their fans are all stupid. So get off their dick, they aren’t paying you to have their back. Be your own person. Goddamn I hate society

You’re right, Jay Z and Kanye kinda sold out. On the other hand, Lil Wayne is the definition of an industry whore, Drake is stuck in a serious pop rut, Nicki Minaj came pre-packaged as a pop star, Eminem’s last 3 albums have been either radio rap or just garbage, Rick Ross is a giant poser, and everybody else is all but irrelevant. So compared to the rest of the game, they’re still doing a lot better.

  15. Pamela Beasley. goddamn
