I chose to create a situation for myself, mainly so I can do what I believe in as an artist and human being. Through my independent company, “Ink Different inc.” I will sell my music directly through iTunes starting early 2012. I chose this route mainly because I wanted the freedom to express myself and also felt compelled to raise awareness for situations many artists in my position won’t address (such as the issue being spoken upon in this video) I want to educate, implement change and set a positive example for all those who may follow behind me. I believe in entrepreneurship, have a clear vision of what kind of career I want to build and will see it through to the end. I am not “signed” to any company whatsoever, I am just drawing a clear line in the sand. Success Served Cold will be my last free release. From this point forward, I will create music the way I envision it should be and iTunes will distribute it.
