In case you’re not aware, some Lions fans have started up a petition to prevent Canadian band Nickelback from performing during halftime of their Thanksgiving game against the Packers. Hilarious, but the shit’s already gotten nearly 40,000 signatures! So, Mayer Hawthorne headed to Rolling Stone to announce his candidacy for Detroit’s Thanksgiving Day game halftime performance.
