  1. First! Childish Gambino is on fire right now!

  2. Dope as fuck… it’s him and he’s a beast damn

  3. drake changes his release date to nov 15….this guy suddenly changes to nov 15. drakes album leaks today…this guy strangely leaks his album today.

im not saying this dude is a wayne/drake wannabe, but this is the kind of shit that make you go hmmmmm

  4. @Focker you’re not too bright, are you? childish didn’t leak his album. npr posted it. i’m pretty sure it was planned way before drake’s album leaked.

  5. Why would you even go hmmm? and Drake changed his release date first. Thing is one is indie and one is a major label release. Hmmm that shit.

  6. Npr always streams albums, just not always hip-hop

  7. Damn! at that 1st track. Real sh*t. Gonna listen to the rest soon. Just might pick this up when it releases.

  8. Focker You Fudge Packing Faggot…Childish Album Been Slated For A Nov 15 Release… Drake’s Was Oct 24 And He Pushed His Shit Back Like A Homo As Always…So Get Off Nutz Kid…

And BTW He Goes Off On Sunrise…

  9. meh every since gambino started gettin posted on here i stopped caring about him. not to be a hipster but i went to his first show; cost 3 bucks; im just gonna bump his old shit.

  10. I meant Childish Gambino changed his first.

  11. hmmmmm indeed. its a little blatant

  12. Drake just about released the AOTY (still waiting on Kreayshawn’s though) and Gambino sucks. He’s funny on Community but fuck this black actor that gotta be a rapper shit, especially one who’s nasally nerd voice is so fucking annoying and who’s raps are complete shit.

  13. I bump this Childish Gambino stuff. Drake’s album is like a slow abortion or sumthing. Its slow at the times when it needs to go fast, dunnow, he doesn’t seem to live up the hype.

  14. that whole crew love song is lame…all it is is just singing and then at the end of the song he starts to rap…and yet people wanna be funny with that take care > blueprint > mmlp > all eyes on me > cole world > ready to die bullshit…just stop cause the fuckery cause your only making yourself look like a dumbass…

  15. Can we get that Childish Gambino Camp album leak please lol…

  16. You wack musician lovers, all of you. Now here’s some good work http://digicrates.bandcamp.com/album/red-dot-plot

  17. @ Jay-Z …Back In 09 You Weren’t Doing Shit…Quit Advertising Your Garbage Bitch

  18. This is VERY good. Y’all can say it’s emo or some shit, but this is very good. Lyrics are witty and heartfelt. Really dope musically.

  19. i cant believe yall giving this CORNBALL a pass. Shit Wack.

  20. click my name for the link. (it’s the CAMP>TAKE CARE post)

  21. Not a fan of Childish Gambino, but I copped his EP earlier this year hoping it would be dope… I was wrong. I just finished listening to his album hoping for the exact same thing… I was wrong again. Every single song is either a sad song about how he had a hard life growing up or a song where he raps like Lil Wayne while talking about black/white/Asian/Latin girls he sleeps with & how black people thinks he acts like a white person. I feel like only white people who didn’t get their Lil Wayne/Drake fix with C4 & Take Care will like this album

    Overall, I’ll give this album a 5/10

  22. I don’t understand why rappers must always be compared. Drake will sell more because he has dickriders and has beeen around. Childish will have realer fans who will support him. Either way Childish addressed all hater before hand in Backpackers.

  23. Plus no one likes reality anymore and real heartfilled music is garbage now right? At least he’s honest with his life.

  24. I thought this was dope, some musics I don’t like, but that’s normal

  25. Here’s the album if you guys want.

  26. Why do people have to hate? why is it that only a certain type of person is allowed to make hip hop music? I dont get it… hip hop has and will always be about being different, so why cant people just accept something different from the “im gangsta, im awesome” shit and let this have its own lane. If you dont like it, thats fine, but dont hate it cause its made by someone who doesnt fit the typical “rapper” mold.

Childish is dope, the album is dope, i wish it had some more lighter songs, a little bit more balance to the deep introspective stuff, but its still an awesome album. I dont like to jump on an album after only a few listens and say how great it is, so im gonna reserve most of my judgement until after i give it a few more spins.

  27. “Not a fan of Childish Gambino, but I copped his EP earlier this year hoping it would be dope… I was wrong. I just finished listening to his album hoping for the exact same thing… I was wrong again.”

    word… ferreal… i keep givin him a chance n i just cant fuck wit it neither…

  28. this shit is amazing.. from top to bottom.. Take Care is the biggest let down of the year by far. I can’t find a bad song on camp.. its real and dope as fuck… I’m skipping over 3/4th of the songs on take care.. Gambino is dope

  29. Gambino is a beast. Haters gon’ hate. We just call em faggots.

  30. I’m coppin this when it drops….good music right here. Its sounding ill as fuck…dope lyricism with exceptional beats…sumthin fresh amongst all this other basic bullshit in Hip-Hop nowadays. “Hold You Down” is something real special.

  31. i see y’all got a lot of mixed feelings about dude… personally I think he’s dope and this album is dope, I kinda like Culdesac better but I’ve only listened to Camp once… if you’re open minded chances are you’ll like his shit, but if you’re not then it’s ok… just stay in that little box you’re living in.

  32. If you’re going to listen to one song from this album, make sure it’s Backpackers. The whole album is crazy dope though.

  33. Ive been a fan. Scanned thru this and liked what i heard. Despite all the haters and comparisons im still buying this when it drops just to support him as a rapper. Oh and dont forget, drake was an actor before to. Hes not a better singer than Childish. But are both good rappers. and who ever said childish raps about the same stuff all the time, yes. so does everybody else.

  34. Childish kills it. I’ve been following him for a while, and he’s only improved.

Take Care is….meh. Drake was alright on Thank Me Later, and it was really Wayne and other features that carried him on his EP, So Far Gone.

Speaking of Wayne (since people compare Childish to him), Carter I (to some extent), II and III were dope. Cater IV though….just failed. Same with Rebirth and I am not a Human Being.

Point is, you can’t compare them. They each have their strengths.

Gambino’s witty lines with heartfelt lyrics is why I like him. And I feel like he does that better than anyone else in the game right now.

Tyler, The Creator is a genius too, but not on every track. I expect him to get better.

  35. outside…..

  36. Gambino reminds me of the old Lupe. Dope shit though. Who gives a shit if he isn’t like all the same old rappers on this site. His shit gives a different perspective. Haters gon’ hate.

  37. Contender for album of the year. this lyrics are dope and the whole album has a flow, which is rare for any mixtape/album these days. Cole world was all over the place, tha carter iv was just average, r.e.d. album was just features and “i dont give a fuck anymore” lyrics. this album had real heart and the rhymes were supreme. It’s up there with section.80 right now.

I think there should be a who has the better independent album: section.80 or camp? i vote sec.80 because it has a message, but camp has a pretty narrative.
