Originally recorded in 2008; Nas joins the late Amy Winehouse on the lead single off her upcoming posthumous, Lioness: Hidden Treasures, due out on December 6th. UPDATE: After a few listens it’s clear that Nas went in and either recorded a new verse or re-wrote the previous ones.

Idk how people can say Amy Winehouse wasn’t talented, and no i wasn’t one of those people that jumped on her bandwagon because she died. Been a fan since Rehab, yes even before Jay-Z jumped on the remix. She did have her demons and it did cost her, her life but nonetheless she was really talented, shame her talented was overshadowed by her addictions and problems.
Nas is G.O.A.T

She was very fond of Nas. She commented on him being her favorite rapper. “In my bed” was over the “Made you look” instrumental and “Mr. Jones” was about him

If NAS isn’t in your top 3 you don’t know rap music.
1a. Pac
1b. KRS I
3 Nas.
The rest you can argue over.
Put up your favorite rapper and I have a song or concept he hasn’t done that these three have.

that 2nd nas verse is a killer, whoa!
gasoline said this on November 3rd, 2011 at 4:47 am
@ear2ear OBVIOUSLY Nas laid down his verses after she died. The bit that ’2008′ is relevant to is Amy’s recording
RealTALK said this on November 3rd, 2011 at 5:53 am
nas mustve done that 2nd verse recently, coz he’s talking bout current events, like the wallstreet protests..that flow in that verse is wild, shit, nasty nas is here…

obviously rhhh and HHNM had this long before y’all, along with everything good. y’all only put priority on the wack shit. fuck this blog. pointless ass niggas flood every page with wack ass artists for views or maybe they like it, who knows. All i know is there is plenty of other blogs with integrity, i’ll stick to those. Maybe it doesn’t mean much to you now, but eventually, you’ll know that quality is better than quantity.

@gasoline
Nah. That whole thing was recorded in 2008 including Nas verse. It was unreleased because Amy had yet to do a verse or so hence Nas doing the heavy lifting on the track. That is just straight Nastradaums for you.
