  1. When you obviously exaggerate like “All Drake fans are teenage girls” instead of saying “I don’t like drakes music.”

    Pretty simple.

  2. There’s no such thing as hating. J. Cole is one of the worst rappers alive, a piece of human trash that got lucky and will soon be exposed for the asshole that he is.

That’s not hate, that’s not even opinion, that’s just true facts.

  3. hate is simply a negative opinion that is fueled by emotion

  4. brite is a hater. If you’ve listened to the Lost Ones and say J. Cole on of the worst rappers alive, you’re hating.

You don’t have to like him or the song though, feel free not to, but that song is concrete proof that he can write like a motherfucker.

  5. In this day and age whenever you say “I think blankity blank is trash” That’s automatically considered hating because you didn’t say “I don’t like blankity blank”. It’s retarded. These new fans think we have to sugar coat our opinions just to please them. Fuck that. If I think someone is garbage then I’m sayin’ he’s garbage. It’s my opinion. And you calling me a hater really does nothing to me, I could care less

  6. @DBS
You know what I hate? When people bring up Lost Ones like it´s one of the best songs of all time, like it´s even in the top 1000 best songs of all time, like it´s even in the top 100000. It´s a good song, nothing more, nothing less. I honestly feel like there´s 50 or so hip-hop songs released this year that are better than Lost Ones. And Cole is a dope rapper, no doubt about it.

  7. I did listen to Lost Ones and about 300 rappers have tackled the subject more tastefully, skillfully and successfully and managed to do that without sounding like a pussy ass bitch.

How can anyone even like Lost Ones? That’s just as bad as admitting you like shit like Maury and thinking its serious drama.

  8. 300 rappers? name 50.

  9. Hate – to dislike intensely or passionately
Opinion – a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty

  10. Yall got facts mixed up with opinions and trying to twist your opinions into facts lol “J. Cole is 1 of the worst rappers alive” is a subjective statement..whats dope to you can be wack to someone else, whats wack to you could be dope to someone else, theres 2 sides to every coin…Example of hate: “you suck” “you should kill yourself”..Example of opinion: “I didnt like the song because I cant relate to the lyrics” “I wasnt feeling his flow”

  11. You guys really can’t recognize a Troll, can you?

  12. Mmmmmm. Interesting shit. If you’re looking to get excessively drunk and belligerent.. “The Offical Rap Blog Drinking Game”: http://www.kidswastingtime.com/2011/11/official-rap-blog-drinking-game.html

  13. brite & uncle sammie
You’re trippin. “Lost Ones” is one of the dopest songs I’ve ever heard, period. To say you don’t like it is one thing. That’s your own personal opinion. But to say it’s wack, without even explaining why is, in fact, hating. I can tell you why its dope, but if its wack then prove it.
And you’re telling me there’s 50 songs that tackled the subject of abortion better than “Lost Ones.” Furthermore, you’re saying that there’s about 300 rappers out there that that have written better songs about it….& 50 songs that came out this year that are better than “Lost Ones”……… so how bout both of ya’ll name just 5 each…lol. I wanna hear this.

  14. hate is simply a negative opinion that is fueled by emotion

    ^ he nailed it.

  15. word < lol nice challenge…
song is dope..yes other ppl have covered it..but tbh…not enuff have.

  16. But to say it’s wack, without even explaining why is, in fact, hating.

    ^ he got it to

  17. @musichead189
Um, I said it was a dope song. Well, ADHD, Keisha´s Song, Spiteful Chant, HiiiPower, Ronald Reagan Era, F Your Ethnicity, Poe Mans Dreams, Ab-Souls Outro, Kush & Corinthians, Rigamortis all off of Section 80 are better songs than Lost Ones, imo. New Day, Gotta Have It, Murder to Excellence, Why I Love you are all much better than Lost Ones, heck Breakdown from Cole World was a better song than Lost Ones. The Type, Ventilation, Full Metal, BBS, Scottie Pippen, Double 007, Sucess Is My Cologne, She Don´t Want A Man, #JetsGo, On G´s, Money Machine, JLC, This Is The Life, are all beter songs (all by Spitta, haven´t really listened to Verde Terrace that much but I´d say that Hennessy Beach is def better than Lost Ones). I don´t know how many songs that was but 20-30ish? All off the top of my head. I enjoyed listening to them much more than I enjoyed listening to Lost Ones.

  18. ^simple fool

  19. well what’s the definition of “hate” that we are using? Because MLK = Hated (when he was trying to get basic human rights), KKK = Hated (for what they did to Blacks & Mexicans which were lynched as well), Immigrants = Hated (whenever the economy sucks), ” I Dont like lebron as much as i like kobe” = “Oh Your A hater” “I Don’t Listen To Wale But I Listen To Kid Cudi = “oh your a hater” . The Definition of the word “HATE” has gotten misconstrued just because NOT EVERYBODY pays attention to you or your favorite rapper, athlete, actor

  20. Its too funny, that the discussion about hate and givin opinion leads to a cole-discussion.

  21. @unclesammie Haha all you did was list songs off Section.80 & Covert Coup.
How can you even compare Cole to Spitta?
Both dope but in totally different lanes.

  22. Im gonna say this about Cole and leave it at that, when you have a certain expectation and you dont deliver after years of hype its not hate that your getting. Its just the music didnt live up to the hype. BigGhostface made a good point about Kanye West recently. He said that when Kayne came out he used to act like he was Gods gift to hip hop and people hated that and thats true but when the albums came out he went beyond the expectations so you could only be so mad because the music was just dope. I see people name the same group of songs when they talk about Cole all the time but this hate shit people use is bogus and even if someone said yeah I am hating? How mad can you be if they give you reasons why? Last year it was oh your a hater if you dont like Lil B but now all those people that was talking about thanks based God now see that his music is gay. All im saying is if the fans and the blogs and the artist themselves hype up they albums like its just the greatest shit ever then deliver.

  23. All those niggas are so damn basic. lol

  24. love 2DBZ, but the comments are trash. Just look at this Marty Mcfly kid. What a god damn fool.
That was my opinion/ true fact :D

  25. @marty mcfly

So is it “hating” if I point out that Jay Z has been delivering WAY below expectations on everything after American Gangster?

  26. ^

lmao awwwwwwwwwwww shiiiiiiiiiiit. now you on started sum shit

  27. @mcbreezy
Well I didn´t say I´d make it hard for myself :P And I think Spitta is 10x the MC Cole is. He lacks depth but he makes up for it with incredible work effort, fan service and love for hip-hop. Cole hasn´t developed since the Warm Up, Spitta gets better for every mixtape, for every freaking song he does.

  28. J. Cole is overrated. Period. No ifs or ands about it. His album didn’t live up to ANYWHERE NEAR my expectations. I’m sure I’m not only speaking for myself either. Section 80 was disgustingly good. Kendrick Lamar is disgustingly better than J. Cole Period. You are a liar if you don’t believe anything that I just said or you just like simple music in the end I don’t care go ahead and listen to your music

  29. I fucking HATE Haters..

  30. I agree with the statements made by Death Star & 2dope

  31. @2dope so im a liar if i disagree with your OPINION? i like both artist so i can care less but dont sit here and act like what you saying is facts like you some professional hip-hop critic foh..

  32. Most of your opinions are filled with hate. Not that i care about any of these assholes opinons anyways. theyd spend years arguing over who is better when its obvious that it’s all on a personal level and there is probably not a hands down greatest. And even if there was it is almost definetly not Kendrick Lamar or J Cole or especially Curren$y. its all good music but i dont get why everyone on here has to try to compare them and disrespect one artist because they like another better.

  33. If ya’ll really discussing the subject in the video and not talking about which one ya’ll would pipe, ya’ll gayer than Ru Paul guest starring on Glee during AIDS Awareness Week. Or Meka(gay), for short.

I guess I’m “hatin” since I bring up ya’ll gay tendencies.

  34. I only clicked the video becasue those girls are bad.

  35. 2dope. one j.cole is not simple music .you are also acting like j.cole did not have hand in section 80 & thati s bullshit. kendrick lamar is great rapper but he is no MC. j.cole can freestyle & kendrick can’t . j.cole is better mc because he can freestyle while kendriick can not . what about j.cole /kendrick project? what you said 2dope is called ignorant closeminded hate because opinion does not matter only facts .section 80 was dope but kendrick had alot of help on section 80. also kendrick would call you hater for j.cole because kendrick bumps the shit out of j.cole cold world. j.cole is not overratted . calling artists overratted shows you jealous of that artist getting more love then your favorite artist & that is called hating on that artist.
brite, what you said is ignorant ass closeminded opinion & not at all a fact, hater . you are a hater for what you said & that is fact . the only piece of human trash that got lucky and will soon be exposed for the asshole is you brite not j.cole . that is fact i said unlike your hating loser self . nothing you said is true at all brite. brite you by fact are hating ass liar !

  36. “there are artist and there are things i dont like, i dont like lil b, i dont like Kreayshawn, i dont like Odd future”…I’ll be damned to ever give them niggas 10 seconds of play. Call it hate.. Call it wtf you want.. i hate their music.

  37. all i know is that i’m not hatin’ on @jasfly…i’m lovin’. she’s fiiiine.

  38. @James aka the real truth
    J. Cole producing a beat for Kendrick is irrelevant, Cole being able to freestyle is irrelevant plus Ive seen them both spit written raps almost everytime theyre put on the spot to freestyle..if you want to use that as an excuse then Charles Hamilton is a million times better than Cole and Kendrick cause he always spits off the top and its alwaya dope…Kendrick bumping Cole World is irrelevant too, just last year Cole said “Overly Dedicated” by Kendrick is his favorite album/mixtape of the year and was quoting Kendrick’s bars in a interview…stop trying to find ways to belittle Kendrick

  39. Hating is when you spend your time telling the whole online community why you dislike an artist in the comment section instead of simply ignoring an artist and keep it moving with someone you like.

    #shrugs

    Peace.

  40. oddly enough, apathy dropped a dope bar which explains it all

I wanna put these muthafuckas on blast, but wait.
If you call someone wack, they dismiss it as hate.
So if nobody’s wack, then is everybody great?
You get emotional from criticism, that’s a feminine trait.

If you dont like something, you should be allowed to say so. Music analysis is completely subjective in every way. Unless youre debating the bpms, what sample was used, what drum was used, etc. there is no factual basis for anything. The word hating needs to be removed completely from the hiphop vocabulary because it is giving too many shitty artists an out for addressing any criticism.

  41. This is exactly what I was talking about on the Mac Miller post.

I don’t care if you like or dislike an artist. But if I were to have asked you why, and you gave me solid reasons as to why, for example you don’t like his/her lyrics, production, voice, etc. I wouldn’t call you a hater. Cole I believe delivered on his album. Did it have flaws? Yes, I could go into details, but I’d sidetrack myself. But at the end of the day, in my opinion, I think Cole delivered. Unfortunately, Cole has to take the bullets from people on websites like 2DBZ, Nah Right, HipHopDX, etc. who were the same people who wanted to hop on the “Let’s See Who’s Next Up To Be Caught In A E-Shitstorm” trend. The same people who hailed TWU & FNL a classic and calling Cole World a classics are now the same one’s saying “There’s no such thing as hating. J. Cole is one of the worst rappers alive, a piece of human trash that got lucky and will soon be exposed for the asshole that he is. That’s not hate, that’s not even opinion, that’s just true facts.” No it’s not “just the facts” it’s an opinion, because anyone who says “____ is the worst ____________ alive. Just stating facts.” Obviously doesn’t know what the word “facts” are. As for hating: I believe people want to use that word for retaliation to someone who says “____ sucks” or shit like that. But I don’t consider myself a hater to anything (not even Waka Flocka), I may not like their music, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to tell others how to feel about them. And then shit gets real personal when someone starts to make assumptions about who you are, what I do, or even what my sexual interest is. Look, you don’t know me, you don’t know who I am, what I do, who I listen to, etc. so what makes you think you have the right to judge someone else when you have never even seen their face. If you don’t like an artist, fine I might ask you why, but I won’t tell you your opinion is wrong, because that’s exactly what it is, an opinion. So don’t tell me who you think I am, what you think I do, or whether my opinion is right or wrong. All you can basically say is “I agree” or “I disagree”.

  42. Didn’t DeadEndHipHop already cover this topic? a more in depth discussion about it no less lol

  43. @Cloudkicker Haha…I was just thinking the same thing. It’s interesting seeing someone else discuss this. Thanks for watching, bro. If anyone’s interested in checking out our convo on this, go here: http://youtu.be/MOqjgf9fFyk

  44. lol why are you guys even thinking about bringing this topic up, this will just fuel up the small minded overly opinionated people in the c-section. Anything that is ever typed on the c-section is pretty much hate (90%).

  45. 66% of the women in this video can get it. No hate.

  46. i wish wale fans would watch this.
