I first heard Kembe X (and his partner in rhyme Alex Wiley) when the homie Calez sent over the latest leak from his upcoming Kid With Raps project. Liking what I heard, I hit Google and I come to find out dude put out his own project on Black Friday. Great timing right? Anyways, hit the jump for some new Chicago flavor. And expect more from him and Alex at the dopehouse in the near future.
Directed by Court Dunn. Cinematography by Mr. Mike Florio. Special thanks to Ayal Kleinman.
It’s been a while but the dopehouse’s VERSES series is back, and what better way to bring it back that to have one legend reciting his favorite verse from another legend? Common meets Nas on this episode, and don’t forget: The Dreamer, The Believer drops December 20th.
I first caught wind of Lou Wiggz with his feature on AlBe Back’s Raphael Dela Ghetto album. And now, the Bronx spitter is ready with his debut album. Tracklist/download link after the jump.
As some might not know, before Meek Mill joined the MMG team he was signed to T.I. and Jason Geter’s Grand Hustle Records in 2008. Continuing his sitdown with Billboard’s The Juice, Tip explains why the deal fell through.
After my two hiatuses I was put in a position where I couldn’t really make moves on Meek as quick as he may have wanted to. I never been one want to hold anyone back or to slow down the success of anybody. I’m the first to try to enhance what you have and if I can’t make it better than I shouldn’t be a part of it. I love what he’s done and I love the fact that what I felt he was able to do, people now see. The potential that i saw in him and the things that I thought he was capable of doing it’s been proven to be true.
While he continues to work on his follow-up to Boy Meets World w/ Exile, Fashawn will be releasing Champagne & Styrofoam Cups in March. 12-14 original cuts that will be accompanied by a 45-minute mini-movie directed by Punit Dhesi.
First leak off the Charlotte, NC native’s debut project dropping at the top of the year. In addition to Pooh, Emilio Rojas, Killa Kyleon, Pill, Clams Casino, SL Jones and more are set to make appearances as well.
