Justin Timberlake, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots breakdown the history of hip hop in a rare performance covering Run DMC, De La Soul, LL Cool J, House of Pain, The Beastie Boys, Jay-Z, Outkast, Kanye West and more.
PREVIOUS: The Roots – To Life, Love & Loot (rmx)

Ha. Seen this last night. This was pretty dope.
Would have been nice to have one black guy in the crowd. Just one.
lol @ Brothaman!!!!!
These fools did that tho!
@Brother Man its Justin Timberlake, you cannot expect anything more than white chicks that were in love with the dude since N’SYNC.
otherwise, pretty dope video, it is much harder than it looks to rehearse and create that type of skit so well, without much time to prepare.
hahahaha @ Brother Man
just thinkin the same
this aint hip hop.
this is whiteboy wedding reception bullshit
enough is enough
this is pretty dope fallon and justin are awesome but brother man is right not a single black person in the audience lolol it was great though
@Detroit89 , u really think they put it all together by theirselfs tho homeboy?! like really..
i mean its cool but am with Idris.. Its whiteboy wedding reception..
and pause why justin is the one singin tho ? since when he raps.. i mean wanna do something for Hip-hop put someone there is hip-hop in it.. its cool n stuff ..
The Roots have had only white people coming to their shows for the last 12 years. Calm Down people. Maybe it’s because Black people don’t like Fallon’s Ass.
No black people? The tickets are free. Anyone can get them if you reserve them ahead of time no one knows what guests will be on. Grow up people if you want a black man at the show call up and get tickets so we dont have to hear you cry. Not everything is a conspiracy against black people
Shit was funny
Seeing and audience full of garden variety suburbanite white folks doing hip hop hooray made my night.
The only black people in the building were the Roots lol.
network tv. late night show. nothing but suburban white people of all ages vibin’ to it. this is great for hip hop.
it wouldve been nice to see some black artist pay homage period. but it seems “white people” care more about our culture anyway. been like this for years, but thats a conversation for another day. at the end of the day its good they did it regardless.
leave it to us niggas to never be satisfied with shit. ungrateful coons. (uncle ruckus voice)
This is pretty nice.
