A couple hours ago ?uestlove previewed the artwork to The Roots’ 13th album; dropping in 40 days (and sadly will not feature an appearance from Blu).

  4. Looks good to me. I personally don’t care if Blu is on it or not. They’ve worked with him before and that was cool, but no need to do it again so soon.

    Roots & CunninLynguists would be an awesome combo. I thought Quest was hip to them, so what’s taking so long?

  6. You ever hear the story about one of Kwelis verses on a Roots album. I have to find it, read it on OKPLAYER. Basically Questo made him redo his verse a few times or they were gonna drop him from the album.

  10. Looking forward for this. Honestly I’m kinda bummed Blu didn’t make their cut. Blu is on another level poetically IMO, He is very different and is always creating something new and not sticking to one particular sound… That’s why I think a lot of people don’t stick with him on all his newer music. Some of tt definitely is different hahaha.. Blu all day though!
