Directed by T-Pain
Somber. Ironically he sounds exactly the same without Auto-Tune (not an insult, just an opinion), so why does he/did he use it in the first place? Anyways, rEVOLVEr drops December 6th.

Ironically he’s using Auto-Tune in the above song, now stfu
yuhh, it’s just less severe autotune, but still there
There’s autotune on this, for real.
I guess Nikki’s pussy’s fucking up Meka’s hearing…
Autotune, no autotune pretty nice song.
i dont see anything in meka’s post saying he is not using auto-tune, but just he sounds the same regardless.
i think he became so used to hearing his voice like that, he unintentionally adds that extra flair in his voice.
this song is beautiful
You guys obviously don’t know what auto-tune is. He is obviously not using it in this song because you can hear his voice fluctuate between notes and at the end of notes. T-Pain is one of very few in the hip-hop/R&B game that is very gifted musically.
^ ^ ^
Every word of that is doo doo. Song’s pretty nice though.
i actually like when he straight raps too.. talented
@comproduce actually no, you obviously don’t know what auto-tune is. auto-tune is first and foremost a pitch correction software that no one is supposed to know you’re using. it was meant to correct bad singing without anyone knowing there was bad singing. of course cher and some reggae artists decided ten years ago that it mad some cool sounds too. and then t-pain came along. so yes, there is definitely auto-tune used on this song. and maybe it’s not auto-tune, maybe its melodyne, which is a much more advanced version of auto-tune but is still, essentially, auto-tune.
so shut the fuck up : )
Auto-tune or not, this is a seriously good song. T-pain has always been a good songwriter, maybe now he’s done his pop/make some money songs and he will start showing his artistic side more. Like Kanye did. PROPZ!
dope song
How you gonna knock T-Pain for the auto-tune effect when he started it. Knock the people that bit him.
Oh yeah pretty much all Pop/R&B songs you hear npwadays you some form of vocal pitch correction i.e. auto-tune. It’s just used a lot more subtle. T-Pain just used it to get a more robotic talkbox effect.
he doesnt use auto tune from antares which is the maker of the auto tuner he’s used (along with other artist as a industry standard) for years. the reason for this is he’s trying to patent his own effect (which in is case is a great idea) see you can market things like the tpain iphone app and the tpain mic and call it auto tune without antares being involved. so last year he separated his self from that brand and not uses his own effect (still pretty much like auto tune) I will say his actually singing voice improves every year, specially in his live performances which use to really suck. this song, like most of his serious songs if you follow him, doesnt use much note correction. when he does a serious songs he never or very lightly uses auto tune. I enjoy hearing this side of teddy when he decides to show it.
Song is dope *caresses woman’s inner thigh*…but this shit has Auto-tune on it with subtle hints of reverbs and bg vocals. SMDH @ Meka.
unlike much of his other work…..this one actually gave me the chills….gotta give the music theory and production credit where its due
Yeah there is some type of altering in the voice. Remember a while back when T-Pain said that he stopped using Auto-Tune, but now is using something “New”. This comment was made early this year or late last year, I can’t remember when for sure but I do know I heard it for a fact.
Anyways nice tune.
BTW: He needs to release that HQ version of Make A Movie (2009).
