50 Cent: One Like = One Meal

Continuing his quest to provide 1 billion meals to children in need (by copping the Street King energy drink right here), Curtis has decided to step it up a notch this week. For the next 4 days, every “Like” on Facebook will also equal a meal for a hungry child. And if the page reaches 1 million, Fif will double the donation.

Dope.

  2. respect to 2dopeboyz for posting these 50 posts how can anyone hate on feeding some hungry kids who dont have what america has people say fuck america but dont know how lucky they are well done 50

  3. thumbs down

  4. cool but why u need a click on Facebook to feed somebody? just provide the meals and thats it

  5. hating from the high horse. embarassing

  6. dope

  7. @pascal because you think 50 is honestly just trying to help feed 1mill people and not get any revenue in return. By forcing you to ‘like’ the streetking brand he is doing the following: marketing his new energy drink, collecting ‘followers’ on facebook, and when this feed a million is over with – he will still have the stats that existed during the campaign and will be all over our news feeds, and continue to market his product(s)

btw: who is checking to make sure he is feeding every last person included in the 1million bucket???

  8. Shake you’re a fucking cornball.

50 is obviously doing this for vein, self promotion reasons. The fact that you back this shit up makes you such a chode.

50 feels no compassion for anyone. This is the most self righteous bullshit ever.

  9. 50 Cent is a real piece of shit.

Who does that? You have the financial power to feed a bunch of starving kids, so feed them. Don’t promote it. Do it silently and anonymously. Doing charity for album publicity reasons is really shallow and sickening.

“One meal per like” smfh. Trading charity for Facebook likes. Disgusting.

  10. You guys are all fucking retarded. Of course he’s doing it for himself and to promote his drink. Nobody helps anybody for nothing. This is the real world. If yo had his money I’d bet none of you would even spend a dime on anyone besides your friends or family. At least he’s doing something helpful while you sit on your ass hating from behind your computer. If you really want to help without promoting someone else go give a hot meal to a homeless person on the street.

  11. fuck whoever could hate on something like this. Mad respect for 50, he’s doing a GREAT thing and deserves major props for it. At least he’s doing something good with his money..he could blow it all on more cars and jewelry if he wanted to, but by doing this he’s making a difference and helping out people who need it. He’s raising awareness. He’s trying to feed millions of hungry people with his own money. You’re a fucked up person if you can’t see the good in that.

  12. is this really disguting? feeding a milion starving children is disgusting? he’s creative an interactive initiative to both get people involved and spread awareness. double duty. how dare you assume that his intentions are selfish or egotistical. the man already have millions of fans on twitter and facebook… since you niggas want to get shallow you really think he NEEDS a few like to feel accoplished? you really think a facebook like means something to him?

i dunno just feels like a nigga cant win these days. no matter what a nigga does you bitch ass bloggers will find some way to put a negative spin on it. you have the audacity to overlook the immense generosity of feeding a million children alone. and call it disgusting because he’s being interactive with the fans. God damn you people. what have you every contributed to your own communities, let alone the world? and you have the nerve to sit behind your fucking flat screens and call this man disgusting? god damn you bastard niggas.

    p.s. I can’t stand 50′s new music.

  13. its amazing to me that you people went straight to “piece of shit” and completely overlooked the selflessness the act of feeding a million children alone…simply because he’s getting his fans involved and you misinterpreted it. wow… you people are sad human beings. you dont deserve anything.

  16. how can you not honor somwthiung like this? wow, hip hop is so fucked up. a bunch of self-righteous cynics. what a shame.

  17. I’ll support the cause but 50 trying too hard now. It’s actually sad to him like this. He’s practically on his knees begging for a following through someone’s else suffering. It shouldn’t take a million likes for him to donate a million meals, just do it and stop looking for the limelight. Who’s his marketing team? they all need to be fired! People aren’t doing this because of you 50, their giving because you’re taking advantage of the situation, it doesn’t change the quality of music you’re putting out. I guarantee if you do all this behind scenes the cameras will come, drop yours. (Watch Latest Latest Promo Ad, click his picture.) Again, I’m all for the cause. I think it’ll [feed one billion people in Africa] be better met if he does it in the opposite direction that’s all…”When you’re looking to gain out of doing something good, you tend to stray away from the intention.” Saw this statement at http://www.noteablenotice.com this dude killin’ the blogs.
