Lil Wayne On Drake’s Take Care (Video)

On the set of Shit’s upcoming video with himself and his female doppelganger, Wayne praises Drake on his upcoming album Take Care.

I actually haven’t got a chance to listen to all of it, but I heard a few songs. I can tell, you know, I don’t know nothing else out there that can touch it, including my stuff. That kid is on another planet. To me, I call him a conversational artist, meaning he can make a hit song out of a regular conversation that you would love to have with any woman or anybody, and I think that is his expertise. The songs I heard, he just capitalized on that like crazy.

I mean, they rep the same team so the opinion is obviously positive. We’ll just have to make up our own opinion on November 15th.

  8. i dont get it i must have no taste in music cuz i dont see the drake being good thing at all he has the worst voice ever what has he made that is so diffrent and amazing please let me know.

  9. cause he takes different stances on any subject, his the best at doing what he does right now I believe his at his prime and you sorta like him cause if you did not you wouldnt have clicked play on this video, see cause if i dont like a rapper i dont bother.

  10. No surprise about his answer. Appears really uncomfortable responding to the question.

  11. actually, “LilSomething,” neither of them called J. Coles album a classic…. dumbass. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWmoyjC4cRY

  13. ^ That’s your opinion, and I know it’s not limited to only you. However, I along with 220k others (possibly a lot more who have downloaded it) don’t seem to agree. The link I see from hulkshare has 81k + downloads for the leak alone.

  14. @fakirwise, its definitely not a classic. ITS AVERAGE AT BEST.

  15. Well, I never said it was a classic but I do disagree entirely with LilSomething’s comment.

  16. its ok people one day youll wake up and think wow i used to support and be brainwashed by all these idiot rappers.

  17. stfu. brainwashed by who fam? u in a music blog talkin shit about being brainwashed by rappers… but yet you made like six comments. if u like the music u buy it. if u dont like it just say it and move on. this is all opinion b. aint nobody brainwashed. aint no ones album is a classic in this age in rap. and ymcmb stay sayin their artists album is the best thing out “right now” f outta here wit dat bs dawg.

  18. @LilSomething*1999

First of all i’m assuming by the “1999″ that you’re 12 years old so i’ll give you a pass. But nobody’s brain washed here. J. Cole is just a good rapper with great subject matter that i’ve never heard from a main stream rapper. Second, i noticed you quoted that “niggas hear my album say it sound like a classic” line. That’s not even a big song, that’s from one of the any given sundays. So i assume if you remember that line, you’re probably just a Cole fan who’s trolling for fun which is a little sad.

  19. Chicagohoe
just like i asid your brainwashed. just cuz i heard a song means im a fan of it? no when you hear a song that doesnt mean you a fan of it. you have 2-3 decisions. like it, dont like it, nuetral. i heard it and didnt like it.
im 12 and smarter then you.
just cuz your brainwashed and you like every song you hear. you
im gonna be a rapper ready. see if you like my subject matter.
she likes guys with biiiig chaaaains!
I love when she gives me braaaaains!
i want to see you work out! go high and low and high and low all for me!
catchup leave you bloody with your fake rhymes like ketchup my music classic like i said you fake like plaasctic.
and i haate when you dont give me braaaaaaaaaaian!
    CLASSIC CLASSIC man im blessed
    rhyme over
    you like my subject matter?

  20. ^Well, he did destroy Drake on In The Morning. Plus he didn’t admit to being attracted to horses like Drake did, so that’s always a plus.

  21. I can’t say I’m a fan of all Drake’s music, but I take the time to listen to what he says in it and I can’t deny that he’s good. Knowing that, I also know that he and J. Cole have to get paid. So how does buying their album to support artists you like and look to hear more of mean you’re brainwashed? Not everyone has the same life and both these guys rap about stuff a lot of people can relate to. And even if ANY rapper says something that isn’t factual about them, who are you to validate whether or not someone else can? Look at the ratio. You’re taking a few lines compared to a lot of songs at face value and undermining it based on how you relate to it.

  22. Yeah.. the planet known as Canada.

  23. Public Enemy said it best…
