We spoke on his new album Cats and Dogs, his relationship with The Alchemist and the prospects of a Step Brothers project, his improvement & growth as an MC over the years, working with DJ Premier, Dilated Peoples being “almost famous” & Capitol Records not pushing them, a new Dilated album & a new record deal for the group, his favorite Dilated album, and tapping Bun B for the “You” Remix. – Bootleg Kev

  2. I think Jay Elec was supposed to be on Where You Come From…that would be dope if he was on the You Remix. I hope Ev puts out a little EP or mixtape of some of the songs that got left off, because I know he’s still got some songs he’s gonna release. Cats & Dogs is one of the best releases this year.

    Anyone gonna get that Torae LP on 11/1?
