Lil Wayne – G’d Up f. Mack Maine & Curren$y

As I’m sure you’re all aware, during the earlier days of Young Money Curren$y was one of the original members of the crew. According to DJ Ill Will this track – originally done in 2005 – was one of the many cuts they did.

  1. im glad this is not how it is today…

  2. best thing Curren$y ever did was to leave them fools he so much better now

  3. I would much rather listen to Weezy back in those days than now. Surprised this is the first time this track surfaced. Click my name to check out my blog if you are looking for another source for new music. Thanks.

  4. let me guess, another track by a rapper named “G’d up” or some variation of that… original, exciting!

  5. I was just talking to my boy last night about Curren$y and Wayne having a whole bunch of music in the vault. Wayne says “Music to Fly To” on Dead Presidentialz. They must have recorded at least a few songs if he’s mentioning a mixtape/album.

  6. Lol @ Curren$y trying to sound like Mannie Fresh on this track. Gotta love listening to old music from rappers still trying to find their sound.

  7. fave lil wayne era after carter 1 to about carter 2. currensy sound the same pretty much

  8. Wayne’s best: Dedication 2 & Drought 3. Georgia… Bush is his best song to date imo. That Curren$y line about “you da man” smh.. lol.

  9. HA…!!

  10. 504 Boyz Spitta >

  11. see sometimes i think he should dig up these old songs and copy the lyrics and just rhyme them over new beats. he would sound better lyrically and would still be relevant

  12. not gonna lie, where da cash at and this song go way harder than anything currensy does now. He’s too lazy sounding now days, no passion. He used to murk shit

  13. @mcdrizzy i agree..
